We’re looking forward to introducing you to Liz (foodventurewithliz). Check out our conversation below.
Hi Liz, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
One of the most satisfying things lately has been realizing that I’m finally getting the hang of juggling my fitness goals with creating food content. That used to feel impossible—like how do you stay on track with your health when you’re constantly surrounded by indulgent food? But I’ve learned how to taste without overindulging, how to plan my meals around filming days, and how to balance a treat with movement or a lighter day after.
I’m proud of the discipline, but even more proud of the mindset shift. I’m not choosing between fitness and food—I’m learning how to thrive in both.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Liz. I’m a passionate foodie who loves discovering and sharing unique dining experiences, especially
local spots that deserve more love. Through my content on social media, I aim to spotlight big and small businesses and help them reach a wider audience.
What started as a personal love for food and exploring new places has grown into a platform that connects people to unforgettable flavors and stories behind the plates. I’m currently working on expanding my reach and creating even more engaging content that not only satisfies cravings but also builds community and supports the hardworking people behind the food we all love.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that shaped how I see myself is my relationship with God. Through faith, I’ve come to understand my purpose, my worth, and how to face challenges with strength and humility. This connection grounds me and gives me a deeper sense of identity and direction in life
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self:
I’m proud of you for not giving up. Life isn’t as hard as it feels right now—and it’s short. So take the trip, speak your truth, love hard, and make the most of every moment.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
One belief I’m committed to, no matter how long it takes, is becoming a better person through my relationship with God. I know I’m not perfect, but I truly want to grow into who He created me to be. I’ve learned that accepting constructive criticism with humility is part of that process. It’s not always easy, but I trust that God is shaping me through every experience.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Giving your best isn’t about who notices—it’s about your integrity, your values, and how you choose to show up in the world. Praise is nice, but it’s fleeting. What lasts is the quiet confidence of knowing you did everything you could, even when no one was watching. That’s real strength.
