Lily Zhou shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Lily , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
Each morning, I begin the day with a quiet meditation, sending blessings to my family, friends, and the guests staying in my home. It’s my way of grounding myself in gratitude and wishing abundance in health, love, and joy for those around me. Afterward, I spend about 10 minutes doing yoga to center my body and spirit, then catch up on the day’s news while mapping out my schedule.
My days are often filled with meetings and conversations, but I don’t see them as tasks—I see them as opportunities to change lives. I love discovering new ways to uplift others, and I’m always searching for people with the courage to take an idea and run with it, turning vision into reality.
And when the day comes to a close, before I go to bed, I pause to reflect on one simple question: How many people did I help today? That reflection keeps me aligned with my purpose and reminds me that every day is a chance to leave someone’s life a little brighter.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I like to describe myself as a visioner, a philanthropist, and a bit of a magic maker. My passion is creating ideas that not only inspire but also transform lives in practical, lasting ways. That’s why I founded PandaNme, a platform dedicated to helping people thrive through wisdom, creativity, and community.
Right now, one of our most exciting projects is the PandaNme 1000 Family Wellness Initiative. Our goal is that by year’s end, 1,000 families will have the very best Kangen ionizer and antioxidant water system installed in their homes. This is about much more than just better health—it’s also about protecting the environment and empowering families financially. Each PandaNme family that joins not only benefits from cleaner, healthier water, but also shares in PandaNme’s wealth by receiving daily income and opportunities for multiple streams of passive income.
For me, PandaNme is more than a brand—it’s a movement of wellness, abundance, and courage, designed to help families live healthier, wealthier, and more meaningful lives.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
It was Sir Richard Branson who once told me that, as a fellow visioner, there aren’t many people like us—people who can see opportunities in every situation and connect them in meaningful ways. For years, others have told me I have too many ideas and should focus on just one. But Richard gave me a different perspective: that people like us are rare, and if I learn to manage multiple ventures with clarity and passion, I can succeed—just as he has. Today, I can say with gratitude that I am living that truth: building successful projects while nurturing my students, mentees, and young leaders to do the same.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
One of the most defining wounds of my life came when my partner betrayed me and sued me for 48% of the company we co-founded. When I first received the summons, I was devastated—I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, and I was consumed by anger. Thankfully, I had a great lawyer who stood by me, and after a long battle, I won the case.
Yet even through the pain, I carry gratitude. She believed in my idea from the start and helped fund it, which gave me the foundation to pursue a dream project I knew could change countless lives. That experience—both the support and the betrayal—taught me that I am capable of standing on my own. I learned I could design, manufacture, and market the product myself, and that strength has carried me forward ever since.
What once felt like a wound became a turning point. I healed by embracing both the gratitude and the lesson, and it shaped me into the leader I am today.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Elon Musk—not for his power, but for his character as both a dreamer and a doer. He dares to imagine what most people think is impossible, and then he puts in the relentless work to make it real. That combination of vision and execution resonates deeply with me, because it’s not just about having big ideas, it’s about having the courage and persistence to bring them to life against all odds.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Nothing. I love every day and the joy of creating, inspiring, and making magic in the lives of others. Every moment counts, and I want to keep living fully and purposefully until the very end.
