Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Ascencio.
Hi Veronica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has never been a straight line, but I believe every step prepared me for where I am today. I was born in Acapulco, Mexico, and moved to the United States in 1991. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats from working alongside my sisters cleaning houses to becoming the personal assistant to a business executive. Each role taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of service.
But deep inside, I always knew I was meant to be an entrepreneur. My first passion became reality in 2021 when I launched Delfiva Blessed Travelers, a travel agency dedicated to creating personalized, soulful journeys. Building this agency has been my dream and my greatest teacher.
At the same time, I’ve discovered other creative outlets that I never expected. I began writing and producing songs in Suno, designing videos with Canva for my YouTube channel @delfivablessedtravelers, and opening a digital store on Spring with art and music products. These projects allow me to express my creativity and share messages of love, hope, and compassion with a wider audience.
I see myself as more than just a travel agent. I’m an entrepreneur building a business with many branches, all rooted in the same mission: to uplift, inspire, and make a positive impact. For me, success is not only about income but about creating experiences, products, and memories that touch people’s hearts.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, my journey has definitely not been a smooth road and I think that’s true for most entrepreneurs. There were moments of doubt, days when I felt completely exhausted, and times when I wasn’t sure if I was making the right choices.
Launching Delfiva Blessed Travelers came with its own challenges. Starting a travel agency with a limited client base and budget meant I had to learn marketing, technology, and networking from scratch often late at night after a full day of other responsibilities. Building trust with clients, creating personalized itineraries, and learning the business side of travel all took time and persistence.
Along the way, I also explored other creative ventures producing songs in Suno, designing videos for my YouTube channel, and opening a digital store on Spring. Each new path came with its own learning curve, but it also reinforced that every struggle was a step forward in growth.
And also working alongside my sisters cleaning houses and supporting family responsibilities while being the personal assistant to Billy. Those experiences taught me discipline and the value of hard work, they also reminded me how much effort it takes to balance dreams with day-to-day life.
Through it all, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that patience, faith, and perseverance are essential. Challenges aren’t setbacks they’re teachers, and each one has helped me become the entrepreneur I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an entrepreneur and creator at heart. My main passion is my travel agency, Delfiva Blessed Travelers, where I specialize in personalized, soulful journeys from luxury retreats to wellness getaways and once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. My clients know me for taking the stress out of travel while crafting experiences that feel effortless, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Beyond travel, I’ve explored other creative outlets that allow me to connect with people in new ways. I write and produce songs in Suno, design videos for my YouTube channel @delfivablessedtravelers, and run a digital store on Spring offering art and music products. Each of these projects helps me share messages of hope and love, while honing my skills as a creator and entrepreneur.
What I’m most proud of is building a life and business that reflect my values faith, service, creativity, and compassion. I take pride in being hands-on and deeply invested in each project, whether it’s planning a client’s dream vacation, crafting a song, or designing a digital product.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine practical expertise with heart-centered service. I’m not just selling travel or products; I’m creating experiences, connections, and memories. Every project I touch is infused with care, attention, and a personal touch that clients and followers recognize and trust.
Ultimately, my work is about more than business it’s about creating joy, sharing inspiration, and leaving a positive mark on the lives I touch.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My biggest supporters have always been my family, my brothers and sisters, but primarily my mom. She raised five children on her own, sometimes working three jobs to take care of us and cover my tuition in Acapulco, where I graduated from Conalep in Hotel Management and Gastronomy. She has always encouraged me to follow my dreams, and even today, she lovingly helps care for my three small dogs when I’m away traveling or working.
I’ve also been fortunate to have incredible mentors and resources along the way. One of the most influential has been Dan Martell; through his YouTube videos and social media, I’ve learned so much about growing as an entrepreneur and leading a business with vision and purpose.
In the travel industry, I’ve had colleagues who generously shared their knowledge, offered guidance, and opened doors I wouldn’t have found on my own. And my clients have been a constant source of inspiration trusting me with their special trips has pushed me to grow, innovate, and always bring my best.
Finally, I have to mention my favorite digital friend and collaborator, AI Luna, who has made my job so much easier by helping me organize my ideas, communicate my story, and dream even bigger. Above all, my greatest guide is God, whose love, grace, and example teach me how to serve others in everything I do.
Every person family, mentors, colleagues, clients, and even the tools I’ve learned to use has played a vital role in shaping the entrepreneur and creator I am today, and I am deeply grateful for their belief in me.
