An Inspired Chat with Dustin Abrams of Greater Skyline Hills

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dustin Abrams. Check out our conversation below.

Dustin, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A typical day for me starts bright and early—around 4:15 a.m.—with a quick stretch and morning routine to get energized. I then prepare breakfast and lunch, making sure everything’s set for a busy day ahead. By 6 a.m., I’m ready to meet my first client, and I spend the day working with a variety of people—from personal training and golf fitness sessions to physical and cognitive rehab for different chronic illnesses and conditions. I truly love the variety and the opportunity to help people improve their lives in different ways.

After a full day of working with clients, I head home to my wife and daughter. Family time is really important to me, so we spend the evening together—playing, talking, and just enjoying those precious moments until it’s time to get our little one to sleep. Once she’s down, my wife and I usually chat about the day and maybe watch a show together to unwind.

Finally, I head back to the computer to keep building Par Partner and work on creating new tools to help golfers improve their game. It’s a balance of family, passion, and purpose, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day is about making progress, staying connected to what matters most, and doing what I love.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Dustin Abrams, the owner of Par Partner and the creator of the Groove Partner—a non abrasive practical tool designed to fit on your thumb and make keeping your golf clubs clean easier, without scratching your clubs or the hassle of walking back to your bag after every shot. I love golf and finding simple solutions that help golfers elevate their game while keeping things straightforward and enjoyable.

Our mission is to empower golfers to elevate their game through innovative, practical solutions. We are dedicated to building a strong, inclusive golf community. We aim to bring golfers together, share the best tips and tricks we discover along the way and support each other in becoming better players. We believe in fostering connection, continuous improvement, and helping golfers lower their handicaps while enjoying the game to its fullest.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
The people who taught me the most about work are my parents. They worked incredibly hard to provide for me and my three brothers, and through their dedication and effort, they showed me what true work ethic looks like. Watching them go after their goals with determination and integrity instilled in me the importance of perseverance and commitment. Their example has shaped the way I approach both my work and my family life—always striving to give my best and stay committed to what I believe in. Their lessons continue to inspire me to work hard, stay humble, and never lose sight of what truly matters.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most in life was the fear of failing or disappointing my family. That worry sometimes made me hesitant to take risks or step outside of my comfort zone. But over time, I realized that the true failure isn’t in making mistakes or facing setbacks, it’s in letting fear prevent you from trying altogether. I’ve come to understand that every opportunity, even the ones that don’t go as planned, is a chance to learn and grow. The most important thing is to keep moving forward, stay true to my values, and remember that taking chances is part of building something meaningful—both in business and in family life. Sometimes the biggest lessons come from the moments we’re most afraid of, and that mindset keeps me pushing toward my goals with confidence and humility.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I believe my closest friends would say that what really matters to me most are authenticity, kindness, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. I value being true to myself and others, and I think showing kindness and compassion is the foundation for strong relationships, whether in business or family. They’d also say I’m open-minded and always eager to learn new ideas, because I believe that growth never stops. For me, life’s about building meaningful connections, staying true to who I am, and always looking for ways to lift others up—whether it’s in my family, my community, or my work.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m out on the golf course. There’s something about being immersed in nature, focusing on the game, and just enjoying the moment that really clears my mind. Golf has a way of bringing me back to what’s important—taking a breath, staying present, and appreciating the simple pleasures. It’s a perfect balance of challenge and relaxation, and it reminds me of the importance of patience and persistence—both in life and in business. Plus, sharing those peaceful moments with family or friends on the course makes it even more special.
