Today we’d like to introduce you to Darren Manson.
Darren, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved to San Diego in 2001 and had many different sales jobs over the years. When i lived in Scotland i was self employed for 5 years and i wanted the freedom again to work for myself. Im a people person and like mèeting tourists from all over the United States and different parts of the World. I started off with a private 5 hour San Diego tour then aftewards i introduced a Wine Tour, Joshua Tree National Park Tour and an LA Tour. Every customer is different and i customize the tour a bit to give them a positive experience. The average amount of time someone books me in advance is 2 months out. Sometimes i get last minute bookings. I really love doing the private tours and wish i had started it 20 years ago.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It took awhile in the begining to get reviews but once i started getting them it has increased business.
