Story & Lesson Highlights with Farah George of San Diego

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Farah George. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Farah, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to start my mornings with intention and structure. I wake up early and make my bed; it’s a small but powerful habit that sets the tone for productivity and accomplishment throughout the day. From there, I wash my face, brush my teeth, and get ready to take on the day. I have a light breakfast to fuel up, then head to the gym to clear my mind and boost my energy, and do it for the gains. If I have any errands to run, I take care of them right after the gym so I can stay focused and motivated for the rest of the day. Starting my mornings this way helps me feel organized, disciplined, and ready to perform at my best.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Farah George, and I’m passionate about personal growth, wellness, and helping others become the best version of themselves. Over the years, I’ve built my career in roles that center around people, from retail and sales leadership to behavioral work. I’ve always found purpose in connecting with others and making a positive impact. What makes my journey unique is that I work for an amazing company as an ABA therapist, where I have the privilege of helping children and families grow through behavioral support, while still running my 17-year-old makeup business. Balancing both allows me to express both my compassion and creativity, one through service and the other through artistry. I believe in staying curious, learning new skills, and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone. Whether it’s in professional settings or personal projects, I’m driven by the idea that consistency, compassion, and mindset can change everything. My story is really about growth and I’m excited for what’s next which is going back to school and becoming a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My parents taught me the most about work. They’re both retired engineers, and I come from a family full of engineers and doctor; people who’ve built their lives around discipline, education, and perseverance. Growing up in that environment taught me the value of hard work, consistency, and never settling for less than your best. Even though I chose a different path, their example inspired me to bring that same level of commitment and purpose to everything I do, whether it’s in behavioral therapy or running my makeup business. They taught me that success comes from passion, persistence, and always striving to grow.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to trust the journey and be patient with the process. Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and people will fail you or try to discourage you from every single dream you’ve ever had. I never gave up, and even the milestones that once seemed unattainable are now achievements I’m proud of. I’d remind her to celebrate small victories, stay curious, and give herself grace, because growth takes time, and she’s stronger than she realizes.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to living a truly balanced and healthy life while continuing my professional growth. That means getting back to a strong, consistent wellness routine, going back to school to become a BCBA, and continuing my journey with my current company in ABA therapy. These goals may take time, but I believe that persistence, discipline, and passion make even the most ambitious dreams achievable. For me, it’s about growth on every level: physically, mentally, and professionally, and never losing sight of the impact I can have on others along the way.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think people might assume that everything was handed to me, especially materially. But the truth is far from that. There was a time in middle school when I couldn’t even afford sneakers for gym class and would constantly look through the bin set out for used shoes. My journey has been shaped by persistence, hard work, and resilience, not luck. I hope my legacy shows that success isn’t about where you start, but about determination, adaptability, and staying true to your passions, even when the path isn’t easy.
