We’re looking forward to introducing you to Bri Grajkowski. Check out our conversation below.
Bri, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me looks like waking up at 6AM. I grab a cup of coffee and sit for a few moments to write, draw or enjoy the quiet. Then I start making breakfast and wake up my kiddos. We all eat breakfast and everyone gets ready for the day. I typically drive the kids to school or start working depending on the day. I’ll check emails, work on design projects, meal plan or get ready for recipe creation. In between projects, I’ll take a walk, paint or plan for what’s ahead. Then I pick up the kids from school and head home. Then, my husband or I will cook dinner and we will eat before any practices for the evening. We head home, get showers, enjoy a show and get to bed.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Bri Grajkowski, a San Diego based content creator, blogger, and cookbook author behind Brigeeski.com, where I share recipes, travel inspiration, and lifestyle ideas for fueling your best life. My journey started over a decade ago as a creative outlet for food and family stories, and it’s grown into a space that encourages balance through everyday meals, creativity, and adventure.
I’m the author of Cooking with Kids: Fun, Easy, Approachable Recipes to Help Teach Kids How to Cook, a cookbook designed to get families cooking together and build confidence in the kitchen. Right now, I’m working on my next book, Fuel Your Best Life, which combines food, wellness, and storytelling to help people find joy and balance in the midst of busy modern life.
In addition to running Brigeeski.com, I work as a creative director for brands like Future Champions Golf, helping them bring their stories to life through design, photography, and digital content. I also host community paint parties, which are a fun way to connect with people in person and inspire creativity offline.
What makes my work unique is that it’s real and approachable. I believe fueling your life isn’t about perfection, it’s about creating moments that bring energy, connection, and happiness through food and creativity.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was an artist. I’ve always been bold, curious, and full of imagination. That creative spirit is still at the heart of everything I do today, from writing and photography to designing and connecting with my community. When I was younger, my bedroom walls were covered from floor to ceiling with drawings, paintings, and mixed-media pieces I created, each one a reflection of how I saw the world.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me what success never could, the power of persistence. It showed me that even when things fall apart or don’t work out the first few times, there’s strength in continuing to show up for your passions and dreams. Through the hard moments, I learned resilience, patience, and the beauty of growth that only comes from struggle.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
I think a lot of smart people get it wrong by overcomplicating things. In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to chase perfection or constant productivity and forget the importance of simplicity, joy, and balance. Sometimes the smartest thing we can do is slow down, listen, and create from a place of authenticity instead of pressure.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes, I could. I’ve learned that the real reward comes from doing what you love and giving it your all, not from external praise. Creating, cooking, or designing something meaningful fuels me on its own. When I’m aligned with purpose and passion, the joy is in the process, not the outcome.
