Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Hardin.
Hi Elizabeth, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into aesthetics began with my background as a Physician Assistant. I graduated from Western University and completed clinical rotations in dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine — and it was during those experiences that I fell in love with the art and science of aesthetics, and most of all, the way helping someone feel confident in their own skin could make such a meaningful difference in their life. `Over time, I realized I wanted to create a space that combined advanced medical treatments with a truly personal, welcoming touch. That vision became Mulberry Medspa — a place where results and relationships matter equally.
When I decided to open Mulberry Medspa, I wanted it to be a space that reflected who I am — warm, genuine, and rooted in care. I envisioned a place where every client would feel comfortable, heard, and truly cared for. Shortly after starting this journey, I found out I was pregnant with my first child, a baby boy, Parker. Balancing pregnancy, motherhood, and launching a new business has been one of the most challenging — and rewarding — experiences of my life. Opening the doors to Mulberry Medspa not long after giving birth felt like the start of two beautiful new chapters at once.
Mulberry has truly grown alongside me as both a mother and a provider. It’s a place built from the heart, where every detail reflects my belief that confidence and care go hand in hand. I’m so grateful for this journey, for my clients who trust me, and for the chance to do what I love every single day.
I also am very lucky to have a very beautiful and knowledgable medical director, Monika Drzymalski (shown in the photo with me), who has supported me in every step of this journey. Mulberry Medspa would not have come to life without her.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been some set backs, like with any new venture. About two months after starting the business, I found out I was pregnant. My husband and I had been wanting to start a family but weren’t sure when it would happen. When we found out I was pregnant, we were ecstatic, and nervous, but for more reasons than one.
I would be lying if I said that starting and running a business as a new mom with a newborn is easy, it most definitely is not. That being said we have worked through every obstacle so far and couldn’t be happier with the way the cards were dealt to us.
We’ve been impressed with Mulberry Medspa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We offer services like Botox, dermal filler, filler dissolving, weight loss management, supplement injections, chemical peels, SkinPen microneedling, laser hair removal, IPL, and Morpheus8. With this list growing as new technology emerges. Our main goal is facial balancing, with a focus on natural, balanced results that enhance your features rather than change them. I want you to look and feel your best, by addressing your concerns as a whole. My goal has always been for clients to leave looking refreshed, confident, and still completely themselves.
What really sets Mulberry Medspa apart is the experience. I intentionally designed the space to feel soft, feminine, and calming — a place where clients can unwind and feel cared for the moment they walk in. Every consultation is personal and educational, because I want my clients to understand their treatments and feel empowered in every decision. It’s never rushed, never transactional — it’s about trust, artistry, connection, and you.
I’m most proud of how Mulberry has grown into a brand that feels approachable yet elevated, a place where real relationships are built, and where people feel genuinely seen. Our community has been so supportive, and it’s an honor to help my clients feel as beautiful and confident as they truly are.
