Community Highlights: Meet Ryen Toft of Simply luxe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryen Toft.

Hi Ryen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started Simply Luxe 15 years ago as a small side hustle-helping friends, families, and local clients transform their homes into calmer, more functional spaces. What began as a passion quickly became a calling. Six years ago, I rebuilt the business from the ground up with a much bigger vision: to create a high-level organizing and move-management company supported by a talented team who could help deliver these transformations at scale.

My earlier career in estate and property management shaped the foundation of Simply Luxe. Working closely with high-profile households taught me the importance of systems, discretion, and thoughtful leadership. When I relaunched the company, I used those skills to build a business that blends design, organization, and efficiency-the core of what is now the Simply Luxe Method.

Since then, Simply Luxe has grown into a trusted luxury organizing brand serving hundreds of clients, major corporate teams, and families moving into their dream homes. We’ve completed thousands of hours on-site, donated to dozens of local organizations, and built a reputation for elevating everyday living with intention and beauty.

Today, I lead the company as CEO while empowering my team, building digital offerings, and expanding our Luxe Living concept. My mission is still the same as when I started-to simplify, elevate, and transform spaces so people can truly enjoy their lives with more clarity, ease, and freedom.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building Simply Luxe has been incredibly rewarding, but it definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road. When I officially rebuilt the company six years ago to support a full team and larger projects, I had to learn quickly how to balance growth, leadership, and client demand. One of the biggest challenges was moving from being a solo organizer to building the systems and operational backbone that would allow the team to deliver a consistently high-end experience-even when I wasn’t onsite.

Another early challenge was learning to set strong boundaries. In the organizing world, urgency can feel constant, and it took time to create the communication structures that protect both my team and our clients. Developing clear terms, predictable processes, and a respectful workflow has been essential, and it’s a big part of why Simply Luxe runs so smoothly today.

As the company grew, so did the responsibility. Managing multiple moves, remodels, and high-profile households at once required strong systems, ongoing training, and the ability to adapt quickly. There were seasons where I was juggling everything myself-operations, scheduling, sourcing, driving the vans, client communication-all while trying to hold the bigger vision.

But every challenge ultimately shaped the business into what it is now: streamlined, intentional, and team-driven. Those obstacles pushed me to create the Simply Luxe Method, refine our SOPs, invest in training, and design a business that can operate gracefully even when I’m traveling or focusing on the next stage of growth.

Today, those early struggles have become our strengths. They taught me how to lead, how to scale, and how to build a brand rooted in clarity, efficiency, and care.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Simply Luxe is a luxury home-organization and move-management firm serving clients who value beauty, ease, and the freedom that comes from living in a well-designed space. We work with individuals and families who want a highly professional, boutique-level experience-clients who appreciate expertise, trust the process, and understand the transformative power of thoughtful systems.

We specialize in full-home transformations, remodel and new-build move-ins, and organizational design that elevates how people live day to day. Our unique Simply Luxe Method blends structure, sustainability, and aesthetic design, giving our clients spaces that are not just organized, but truly life-enhancing.

What sets us apart is our ability to make complex projects feel effortless. Our clients often juggle demanding careers, family responsibilities, or major life transitions, and they rely on us to manage every detail with care, discretion, and an eye for design. We take on the planning, the sourcing, the systems, and the setup so they can enjoy their space from day one-fully done, beautifully executed, and ready to live in.

We’re known for working seamlessly with high-profile and high-performing clients who require professionalism, communication clarity, and complete trust. They choose Simply Luxe because they want an elevated experience, not just an organized room.

I’m most proud that the Simply Luxe brand has become synonymous with transformation-not just of spaces, but of how people feel in their homes. Our work creates calm, clarity, and a sense of ease that carries into every part of life.

For readers discovering us: Simply Luxe is for clients who want excellence, efficiency, and beauty-and who are ready to invest in organizational systems that truly support their lifestyle. If you’re looking for a streamlined, supportive, design-forward approach to organizing or moving, you’re exactly who we’re here for.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is living a life that feels calm, intentional, and connected. I’m at my best when I’m traveling, exploring new cultures, or out in nature with my dogs-those are the moments that recharge me and remind me how big and beautiful the world is. I love being outside, grounding, enjoying quiet mornings, and creating space in my life for wellness, creativity, and ease.

I’m also happiest when I feel aligned: when my home is peaceful, my schedule has room to breathe, and my work is making a positive impact. Building Simply Luxe into a systemized, supportive team that can run smoothly while I travel has given me a kind of freedom and balance that I truly cherish.

Helping others experience that same sense of calm and clarity also brings me joy. Whether it’s transforming a space, simplifying someone’s move, or creating systems that make their day feel easier, it’s meaningful to know our work improves people’s everyday lives.

At the heart of it all, happiness for me comes from simplicity, connection, and the ability to live life fully-with purpose, presence, and a lot of gratitude.
