Today we’d like to introduce you to Bella Royal.
Hi Bella, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Learning my time in the Marine Corps was coming to an end was leaving a bigger hole in my heart than I thought it would back in 2018. Everything was about my work, fitness and transferring mentally into the civilian work force. Creativity didn’t feel natural anymore. I wanted to get into my passion which was always photography and beauty. I had a friend named Savannah who still in her way found a way to be creative while being active duty. She encouraged me to just do it. for my birthday, she gifted me her old camera and pushed me to just create. Because of her, I found not only a way of therapy for the many negative things I had gone through. But a way to let a new way of creativity come to life.
Since then, it has been the biggest blessing. Ive traveled, made new friends, have helped countless people create beautiful memories. Have captured a families new life being born. Have been there for a families last moments with loved ones. I loved every moment of it. Can’t believe that small gesture of a friend, helped me create this life that I love so much. A heavy caffeinated but fun life!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. There has been years where didnt work very much. Those were the times that made me rethink if what im doing is the right thing. I did get my degrees in other fields. Made me think I should go back to those. They were hard times. slow seasons, inquiries were coming but they would book somewhere else. it really messed with my mind. it made me feel like I wasn’t good enough.
We’ve been impressed with Bella Royal Photography LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Im a versatile portrait photographer. I do pride myself in my organization, The care I take to make sure my clients are comfortable. I listen, match energy and create a fun, safe environment for anyone that trust me with their vision. But it’s not just that, I check in even after years. or just to say hello. remember birthdays, anniversaries. It doesn’t end just at the service. because I do really care.
How do you think about luck?
No role has been lucky. Just my honesty, kindness and genuine care has always been what has made me successful in what I do. It’s why my past clients (along with new ones) come back every year, every season. When I get referrals, thats the first thing they say that was mentioned when asking or looking for a photographer.
