Meet Andrea Crawford of Draya Love

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Crawford.

Hi Andrea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has been anything but conventional, and I think that’s what makes my work so meaningful today.

I’ve always been fascinated by people—how we grow, heal, make decisions, and navigate life’s challenges. Early in my career, I worked in corporate leadership, healthcare, consulting, and business development. Those experiences taught me how organizations function, how people perform under pressure, and how strategy can create real change. I later earned my MBA, but I realized that while business could solve many external problems, people were often still searching for something deeper.

Over time, I found myself drawn toward understanding the connection between our mindset, our nervous system, our relationships, our purpose, and our overall well-being. That curiosity eventually became the foundation for SolTech™, the framework I’ve spent years developing. SolTech brings together practical strategy, reflective practices, and whole-person growth to help people recognize patterns, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

I’ve also had my own share of life transitions that shaped who I am. Like many people, I’ve experienced significant change, rebuilding, and the challenge of starting over. Rather than seeing those experiences as setbacks, they’ve become some of my greatest teachers. They reinforced my belief that transformation isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about uncovering who you’ve been all along beneath the noise.

Today, I’m focused on growing SolTech™, working with individuals and families, writing, speaking, and building educational resources that make this work accessible to more people. I recently relocated back to the Bay Area, where I grew up, and it feels like the beginning of an exciting new chapter—both personally and professionally.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission: to help people better understand themselves, trust themselves, and create lives that feel more aligned with who they truly are.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I don’t think any meaningful entrepreneurial journey is ever completely smooth, and mine certainly hasn’t been.

Like many business owners, I’ve experienced periods of uncertainty, financial challenges, and the need to reinvent myself more than once. Building something from the ground up requires resilience, patience, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the path isn’t obvious.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that our greatest challenges often become our greatest teachers. There were times when life asked me to slow down, reevaluate my priorities, and rebuild from the inside out. Those experiences deepened my understanding of resilience, personal growth, and the importance of aligning our work with our values rather than simply chasing success.

More recently, I made the significant decision to relocate back to the Bay Area, where I grew up, after many years in San Diego. It marked the close of one chapter and the beginning of another—not just geographically, but personally and professionally. Starting over in many ways has reminded me that growth often requires the courage to let go of what’s familiar in order to make space for what’s next.

Every obstacle has strengthened my conviction that transformation isn’t something we simply talk about—it’s something we live. Those experiences have given me greater empathy for the people I work with because I understand what it feels like to navigate uncertainty, rebuild, and keep choosing hope.

Looking back, I wouldn’t erase the difficult seasons. They helped shape both who I am and the work I do today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Draya Love was created from a simple belief: every person already carries an incredible capacity for growth, healing, and transformation. Sometimes we simply need the right environment, the right questions, and the right tools to recognize it.

Through my signature framework, SolTech™, I work with individuals, families, and entrepreneurs who are seeking greater clarity, resilience, and alignment in their lives. My sessions blend practical coaching, intuitive pattern recognition, nervous system awareness, and whole-person wellness into an experience that helps clients better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.

One of the things clients often tell me is that they feel deeply seen. I naturally recognize patterns and connections that people may not notice on their own, and then translate those insights into practical, actionable steps. My goal isn’t to tell someone who they are or what they should believe—it’s to create a space where they can discover their own answers with greater clarity and confidence.

What sets my work apart is the integration of multiple disciplines. My background spans business leadership, healthcare, consulting, entrepreneurship, and personal development, allowing me to approach each client from both a strategic and human perspective. I believe lasting transformation happens when we care for the whole person rather than addressing just one piece of the puzzle.

While I love working one-on-one with clients, I’m equally excited about the future of SolTech™. My vision is to continue expanding through books, educational programs, workshops, digital resources, and practitioner training so these tools can reach people around the world.

What I’m most proud of isn’t simply the brand itself—it’s the trust people place in me. Watching someone reconnect with their own strength, find clarity after feeling stuck, or leave a session with renewed hope is the greatest measure of success I could ask for.

At its heart, Draya Love and SolTech™ are about helping people remember that they are far more capable, resilient, and whole than they often realize. Everything I create is designed to support that journey.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’ve found that the best mentors and professional relationships often develop naturally through genuine connection rather than traditional networking.

Early in my career, I thought networking meant collecting business cards or attending events. Over time, I realized it’s really about building trust, showing up consistently, and looking for ways to serve others before asking for anything in return.

Some of the most meaningful opportunities in my career have come through relationships that developed over months or even years. When people know you’re dependable, authentic, and genuinely invested in helping others succeed, those relationships tend to grow organically. Referrals, collaborations, and new opportunities often become a natural byproduct of that trust.

I also believe it’s important to stay curious. Every person you meet knows something you don’t. Whether someone is just starting their career or has decades of experience, there’s always something to learn if you’re willing to listen.

As for finding a mentor, my advice is to look for someone whose character you admire just as much as their accomplishments. Skills can be taught, but integrity, humility, and generosity are qualities worth learning from. Don’t be afraid to ask thoughtful questions, stay in touch, and express gratitude for the guidance you receive.

Finally, remember that mentoring is a two-way relationship. While one person may have more experience, everyone has something valuable to contribute. Some of my greatest lessons have come from clients, colleagues, friends, and even complete strangers. If you approach every interaction with curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to learn, you’ll build a network that’s based on meaningful relationships rather than transactions.
