Rising Stars: Meet Danny “DJ PAPAS” Sandoval of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny “DJ PAPAS” Sandoval.

Hi Danny, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a little kid, I always breakdance every Family advanced all the show. With doing that I came across a lot of DJs that weren’t as good as I expected them to be or didn’t provide a quality that I considered “ good “. 10 years old my parents fell into my talent and bought me a small controller that plugs into a iPod and two sets of speakers. The following week, which was New Year’s I DJ my family France New Year’s party for $100. Since then, over the years with my dad taking me to my gigs and setting up the love for DJing Grill, and so did my business by investing back into it. After Covid, a lot of events and family gatherings became a priority and that’s when I took my DJ business to the next level by posting more on Instagram, TikTok and investing back into my system and now today I have a Buisness that’s built from catering towards my clients need and expectations

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles that face started off was taking gigs that nobody wanted to take to be able to expand my business learning lesson psychology taught through bad experiences and use enough for my advantage to be able to proceed on and grow. Every expectation, need and lesson all from a funny story or bad experience, but I used that to my greater advantage.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a mobile DJ all across San Diego. I provide an experience throughout my life mixes and I’ve known for catering towards the Dance Floor and my clients expectations. I’m more than a business as I build a relationships and do other DJs don’t do by reading the room and being a part of the party then seeing my client as a customer. I’ve always strive to be known for “my friend who DJ’s “then rather a “DJ “ as customers trust in relationship is what I strive for and that’s what sets me apart.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Using charisma to be able to get myself in rooms and opportunities that other DJs strive for and my work ethic as I work a full-time construction job and a half days where I work full shift in DJ at the night so I’ll bring more than just a DJ experience but then my work ethic and character be my main selling point
