Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Moreno.
Vanessa, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Since I was little girl, art has always been a part of my life, even with a box of crayons in hands. I enjoy doing custom art for people and see their reaction to my artwork. I have different styles of art. From painting with a brush to using spray paint for the background, to wood burning and even In just finger painting. Yes that’s right finger painting. Art isn’t all about using a paint brush, but it’s whatever you put your mind into it. Also I have a couple of YouTube videos of me actually finger painting. We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I guess you can say I’m a nerd. I love superheroes and villains. You will always see me have dc/marvel paintings. I normally hand paint the main character and in the background I like to use spray paint to combine everything together. I also do custom portraits into pop art either in wood burning or into finger painting. Sometimes I would do custom finger paintings for people who have lost that special loved one. And “I’m so thankful God has given me a talent that I can use to make a broken hearts just a tad less broken” Or even express the joy in seeing the reaction of people when they see my art
Have things improved for artists? What should cities do to empower artists?
It’s not easy to become an artist. But also that’s life. I’m always trying to work hard and better myself. So never give up… you never know what happens tomorrow
