Today we’d like to introduce you to Evelyne Aguilar.
Evelyne is a girl from Mexico City, who lived all her life in the border of Baja California and then moved to the beautiful city of San Diego. She studied part of her life in Mexico and also in the USA. After high school, she studied for a bachelor degree in Fashion Design and then got a Master’s Degree in Design. After finishing her studies, she created her brand of swimwear NOIA COLLECTION.
NOIA COLLECTION has participated in different platforms, such as Fashion Week San Diego, Fashion Loves LA, Las Vegas Fashion and Mercedes Benz Texas along with others. In 2015, She was hired to work for a shoe company, designing shoes for very important brands such as Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Charming Charlie and many others, obtaining the chance of traveling the world.
In January 2017, she decided to return to her dream and focus on her own brand. Last October she started a fashion blog on Instagram and also a YouTube channel to help people with fashion tips and DIYs.
“Fashion is not just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle and a very difficult career, but if you do it with passion, you can get very high. Through my YouTube channel, my hope is reaching many people who want to learn more about this topic and to boost Latinas and self-sufficient women up!” –Belanoia
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I think my main obstacle in life is having fear. Fear of thinking, if my products are good enough and if my customer would like my designs. But through the years I realized that you can’t make everyone happy. There are a lot of customers that won’t like the products or designs but there will be a lot that will love them.
I’m a big believer that if you love what you do, things will always go well and different opportunities will show up. I think that is the most import thing. Listening to good comments from the customer every time I do a fashion show or launch a new collection is my biggest satisfaction, then is when I realized that I’m doing a good job on what I do, and that makes me happy.

My Business is a swimwear brand. Designed and Made in San Diego Ca. I have been designing for over 5 years. Noia Collection has been part of different fashions shows, locally and internationally; Noia Collection is a beautiful brand that makes every woman look and feels beautiful. Every season we make new collections, inspired by the latest trends.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My Future Plans are to sell Noia worldwide and open a swimwear store in San Diego.
