So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my career with some makeup brushes I received on my 19th birthday. I was never really into makeup but when I got those brushes everything changed. After high school, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I struggled with depression and anxiety for years until I found the courage to say I want to attend a beauty school and do something other than stay in bed all day and night.
Makeup has truly changed my life for the better, I found myself the happiest when I would sit in front of my mirror for hours trying to do a makeup look I had watched on YouTube. I’m so thankful for all my beautiful clients and family that have been with me throughout this entire journey. I’ve made this my career, and I’m so proud to say I love my job.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My struggles with anxiety/depression hasn’t always been easy, every day is a constant struggle but what’s a life without dedication? Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us. All you need is a little courage and you’ll see how far you grow. Trust the timing of your life!

I’m a freelance makeup artist based in Escondido, CA. I’m well known for doing very glamorous looks and I’m also very well known for being a perfectionist when it comes to applying makeup.
I’m so proud of the friendships I’ve built with my clients, they make my job so fun! I like to believe that what sets me apart from others is my artistry and personality.
I’m a very silly/ awkward person so I’ll make you laugh and keep a conversation going. I also like to give my clients the best service which is why I provide the best lighting, application, products and the environment.
