Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Manus.
Angel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, it all started when I was just little, I absolutely loved fashion and my love for it has only grown since. I went through my different stages when I was younger of wanting to model, wanting to design, etc. Now, I really love to style, but I also design on the side. I actually design and sew some of my own clothes. My ultimate dream is to open a boutique where I can have my designs, as well as other locals and help style. Starting my blog has helped me in starting to work towards my goal.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been pretty smooth, I have a really great family and friends that support me in everything I do.
What should we know about Sassy Mama in Heels? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a style influencer, fashion blogger, and I design on the side. Instead of going for what everyone else thinks is in, I like to make my own trends. I learned that from my mom, she has always worn what she liked and what made her happy rather than others. I think it’s important to be unique and be yourself, I’m so thankful to my mom for teaching me that.
Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
I have noticed that reaching out to others has helped a lot.
