Today we’d like to introduce you to Dazzly Rizo.
Dazzly, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
For those of you that knew me personally- a couple of years back you knew that for me getting in front of a camera was something I liked but not something I’d ever thought I’d get myself into seriously. It had started a year ago when a friend had asked me to help him start his photography business. I had no experience and even considered not to do it because I didn’t think I was the person for it- That day I decided to go for my good friend, to help his upcoming business take on that next little step. And I can say that I don’t regret it a single bit because on that day I realized how much I love photography and the endless amount of art the human body can create. Since that day I worked hard to connect myself with the right people and the right places. It was hard in the beginning I struggled with having my parents support me in what I love doing, we’d bump heads plenty of times & even argue about how I should focus on becoming a professional and finding an office job. I ended up doing so to make my parents somewhat proud.
Later throughout my last years of high school, I had doors open to opportunities I never thought I would imagine getting. I prayed every night that one day I could tell them all of the opportunities I am receiving and have them jump in my arms in excitement. I prayed every night for the day to come. One thing I learned is to be patient and keep a strong faith in God because He answers prayers in his time, not ours. He tests our faith, and that is why we can’t give up. I started small by creating my portfolio of different images/pictures agencies take into account. Got reached out and contacted by a few agencies/management while also submitting for other agencies, and now I’m signed to around five – that all provide different work.
I was blessed with working with some of the biggest photographers, cinematographers, and artist in the industry (just recently I did a video with DRAKE and BADBUNNY). But I’m more blessed to finally say that I have my parents by my side supporting my every move ❤️ I’m I’m so happy they see that I enjoy working with different creatives all with the same goal at that is creating.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road wasn’t smooth at first. You have to be confident in yourself and keep your mind focused on your ultimate goal. You will not always succeed or be “noticed” at first. But I promise you if you keep striving for what you love, you’re already THAT much closer to your dream.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with your work– tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I am an influencer/model/actress & spokesperson. I model for many different major brands such as Fashion Nova, meshki, Dollskill, Ikrush, Sugarbearhair, Bali Body, Diva Moda Fashion Couture, Honey Bum, Boxy charm, Iconswim, Coalnterry, and many smaller brands as well. I occasionally model for Sephora’s popular brand “pretty Vulgar” as well!
I love to act too! I think my ultimate goal is to be on a show, but I do act in commercials I’ve done and in some music videos as well. Some of the artists I’ve worked with include Maluma, Marc Anthony, Wisin & Yandel, Liam Payne, Jbalvin, Flo Rida, Wyclef Jean, Flo Rida, Zoey Dollaz & Moneybagg yo, G-eazy, Too-short, The Dream And recently Drake and Badbunny
Who have you been inspired by?
My parents inspire me. They both were born and raised from Colombia and came from absolutely nothing to everything. Their hard work only pushes me to go further, take another step, and not give up.
