Check out Jazmine Nash’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmine Nash.

Jazmine, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I’m a creative director/producer and brand manager based in Los Angeles and Phoenix I’m originally from San Diego and frequently travel to San Diego for business projects. I began my career in finance when I was 19, but always had a strong interest in the entertainment industry so I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2008 from San Diego. After developing relationships with different moguls in the music and fashion industry I always knew working in corporate finance wasn’t my end goal so I needed to figure out what It takes to transition. When I turned 23, I produced a fashion show/tradeshow and concert and started developing relationships in the fashion community. I moved to Los Angeles at 24 still working at my nine to five and started to purse my platform in entertainment any moment I could outside of my day job. I experienced my first major experience working on the Red Carpet the BET awards in 2013, that’s where it hit me, this is where I need to be.

I started developing my platform in digital media, interviewing artists, learning more about event and content production. In 2014, I started working for CBS learned outdoor advertising and marketing. I started a production company in 2016 with my longtime friend recording artist Followjojoe and six months later stepped on the leap of faith and pursued self-employment full time.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I create content & marketing campaigns for fashion brands, businesses, and influencers. I also style so I pull amazing high end, vintage, and/or trendy items to style clients for photoshoots. Part of my creative direction is selecting models for campaigns, choosing the photographers, videographers, makeup artists, hairstylists and any additional talent needed.

If someone is looking to start a company or manage day to day operations, they hire me to make it happen. I try to be a one stop shop for business and companies looking to create dope content. One thing people can people always take away from my work is the edge, the quality, and handwork behind the development. Not only do I select locations to shoot content, I go to the location prior to the shoot to choose spots the models can pose in, I create mood boards to develop the concepts, and style the fashion and props to tell the story.

What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
As an artist I define success by having the ability to live out your passion. By being able to take care of your family and provide opportunities for others to win.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
Please check out my work on my Instagram it shows a variety of projects, events and shoots I’ve directed and produced.
