Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Marie.
Ashley, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started blogging in 2017, I was working as a stylist with a reality star on the hit show WAGS and she asked me why I wasn’t blogging. I dressed well, I already had a great following on IG so naturally, the next step was to launch a platform so people can find what I’m wearing and more detail about the clothes and my style. At first, I was reluctant I had no idea about the blogging world. After a little push and some research, I just went for it. When I launched AshleyMarie.co early January, I’ve seen an immediate response! I didn’t think I could pull it off but I did. Major brands like Good American, NYX, and Missguided started to reach out to me requesting to collaborate on content, I was truly in shock! I couldn’t believe that big brands would want to work with little ol’ me. After a year of blogging, I decided to take a break. Even though the brand taking off, I wanted to challenge myself as a business owner by starting e-commerce, selling accessories which is what I actually love. I have a background in luxury retail and a passion for accessories and fashion. Back in 2012, I used to hand make headpieces and other small jewelry when I had my first child as a pastime and turned that into a business. So, I guess everything just came full circle with ShopAshleyMarie.co.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve been so blessed during this journey I have an amazing team! My photographer @_sterlinggold has turned into my best friend we work on content daily. Ashley the head of @dynastymedia which is a branding and design agency works on all my media (website, logo, packaging).
One of the most challenging parts of the business is consistency within my self. Another very challenging part to me is learning all of IG new algorithms and tricks and thing to grow my IG presence, but San Diego has an amazing group of blogger women who really love helping each figure things out so we can all win together.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Ashely Marie is the blogger, fashion lover, and businesswoman behind ShopAshleyMarie.co. I am known for great style, amazing content, and my wild personality. I am so proud that I can provide women with affordable jewelry that last and looks amazing! I think that my style sets me apart from most people. I am a pro at mixing high fashion with low fashion. Also known for pushing the line with my faux furs, leather jackets, sheer pants, my love for leopard, and Gucci, of course! Lol, my long nails and we can’t forget about my hair! I am the wig queen! One day, I’m pink the next platinum blonde and the next black long Morticia Adams hair! These things make up the essence of AshleyMarie.co.

I love San Diego Perfect weather great people and the best taco shops in the world.
