Hi Mike and Jenn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We are Mike and Jenn Edwards, a photographer and videographer team based out of San Diego, however, we travel wherever you invite us. We specialize in capturing business professionals, corporate events, weddings and more. Together we love capturing your memories. Our passion grew so much that we decided that we wanted more than just a hobby. After a family trip to Panama in 2011 and feeling this passion come alive once again, We knew there was more we could do to fuel our photography craft. Being self-taught, we feel confident that our work speaks for itself. However, what we are really passionate about is making your time with us amazing and even more memorable because we are serving you and capturing all of the memories that are being made. We call this The Mike & Jenn Experience. If you care about stunning videos and photography and the long-lasting memories they create, we want to share in your celebration! Experience The Difference.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Most of the time but we’ve had some bumps along the way! Learning how to work together, figure out our individual strengths and then operate in those lanes has become second nature. After 10 years in business together and doing life together we realize we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve been through lots of learning curves, growing pains and just plan slow times. It’s all brought us to this point of joy and happiness and we want to share it with you!

We are known for the experience we provide our clients. Yes, we take great photos and video, however, it’s always about how you felt when those things were captured. Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Yes! We are not only a part of BNI, a global networking organization, we also help to run it here in San Diego. We know that networking is critical to every businesses long term success. We absolutely love and enjoy meeting new people all the time, building strong relationships and connecting other professionals. And we LOVE new clients that were referred to us by someone else! It’s the best!! 🙂
