Hi Naomi, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Naomi Perdomo, Founder and Creative Director of Nodory Jewelry. I’ve always been passionate about fashion and jewelry from an early age. In my free time, I love making handmade items. I love to bake, crochet but love even more creating jewelry pieces. I would dissemble the jewelry I already had and create a new piece from it. I started with creating charm bracelets; the more charm the merrier. After creating charm bracelets, I moved to creating layerable necklaces. It was so therapeutic and exhilarating. It was very personalized and that’s what I loved the most. Jewelry is not just an accessory; it is more than that is a way of expression.
The idea of Nodory Jewelry stemmed from a passion for female expression & empowerment through jewelry. I was in pursuit of finding layer-able pieces but struggled to find my vision of luxury quality jewelry at an inclusive price. I was presented with the choice of high-quality jewelry at a high-quality price tag or cheap quality products that tarnish after one use. Through my search to find inclusive yet high-quality jewelry for the everyday woman – Nodory was born.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would definitely say it has not been a smooth road. It’s been a slow process with a big learning curve. As a small business owner, you are usually a one-person show and there are so many parts that involve a business that you don’t know of and have to be learned by researching and just figuring it out as you go. The process of creating a brand, designing and making the product, and then sharing it out to the world and seeing the beautiful reactions is truly satisfying. It’s been a lot of hard work, persistence, and hustle but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am constantly evolving and improving along the way.

What are your plans for the future?
Long-term plans – I’m looking forward to expanding my brand to its own storefront location and adding solid gold jewelry items. Also, planning on adding permanent jewelry service, which is a dainty solid gold or gold-filled chain where you can add as a bracelet, anklet, or necklace and custom fit to you and weld closed. Since the chain is welded closed, it doesn’t have a clasp, creating a seamless permanent jewelry!
The process is painless, easy, and fun! Great for friendship bracelets, mother-daughter bonding, bachelorette parties, or simply to treat yourself to the easiest accessory you will ever own. Also, offer a selection of 14k solid gold or gold-filled chains and charms to choose from.
In the works now – We are working on a new collection coming soon, so stay tuned! I can only say it is called The Bold Collection that includes earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets/ anklets. We are excited to launch it soon so make sure to follow us on our socials for the updates.
