Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Mancuso.
Hi Morgan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Since I was little, I knew I had an ability to help and hold space for others, but found it difficult to interpret my sensitivity to energy, and battled depression, body dysmorphia, limiting beliefs, and energy blockages into my early 20s.
At the end of my time in college, I was faced with the dilemma of pursuing a conventional career in psychology or following my intuitive nudges towards a more spiritual path.
It was when I found reiki around this time, that I knew deep in my soul this was my path. I got certified a few months after graduating, and had every intention to launch my reiki practice right away… but didn’t expect how hard it would be to transition out of my 9-5 job without a mentor.
It took 3 years of stagnation and trial and error with overcoming my fears and blocks to moving forward, before eventually diving deeper into reiki for my own healing, quitting my 9-5, and getting my practice off the ground.
Soon after, I found my passion and purpose was in awakening the “inner healer” in others, through teaching reiki and integrating mindset work, and other powerful modalities.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t always easy for me. I often felt “too sensitive” for the world, and struggled with my mental health into my early 20s. I battled depression, anxiety, self-harm, restriction of food, and was highly critical of myself. This led to attracting some not-so-healthy situations and relationships as well. But all of these struggles led me right to the path of self-love and personal growth, which is ultimately what helped me uncover my path.
As you know, we’re big fans of Reiki by Morgan. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a reiki master teacher, spiritual business mentor, and an energy transformation facilitator. I have provided intuitively led reiki sessions for about 4 years. In my sessions, I incorporate modalities such as tarot, breathwork, hypnosis, and sound healing.
In the last year or so, I have transitioned into a mentorship and teacher role, and am now teaching others how to heal themselves, and help facilitating healing in others.
I offer an 8-week mentorship where I certify others in reiki 1 and 2 and provide 1-on-1 mentoring to help them launch their own reiki practice. This mentorship includes spiritual business mentorship, mindset work, NLP, breathwork, EFT/tapping, self-love practices, and more.
What sets me apart from other teachers in this field, is that I have made it my mission to mentor other women who are also looking to make an impact in the healing space. I am known for bridging the gap between simply learning reiki, and making it a full lifestyle, and launching a successful reiki practice. My guarantee is that each person will land their first clients in the time that I work with them.
How do you define success?
I define success by emotional and spiritual fulfillment. To me, success is not measured by material things or wealth. Success comes from the deep fulfillment from feeling aligned on my path and consistently pursuing my purpose. Ideas of success can always change because we are always changing. But I believe the one consistent factor in the pursuit of success is the pursuit of happiness and the pursuit of our soul’s purpose.
