Conversations with Cade Koch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cade Koch.

Hi Cade, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Also known as ACOGCade or ACOGVIZUALZ… I’m a creatively inspired entrepreneur from Beaver Falls Pennsylvania. I was born in raised in Pennsylvania with a lot of influence but minimal opportunities. This is what inspired me to be who I am today. Simply deriving from being an athlete to being a creative would have never crossed my mind. Being raised by a single mom for the most of my life gave me a sense of empathy and balance in understanding people knowing that someone’s situation can be just like mine if not worse or better, naturally given the opportunity to be mindful. I came to California after losing an opportunity in college to play baseball after a few unfortunate events. So I worked as a pizza delivery driver until I got a call from a relative in San Diego that was willing to give me an opportunity to be the best me and create who I am today. Within time I collected many trades that would curate me to be the person I am. I picked up a camera and learned it from scratch. Started dabbling in production and making beats, to even recording my first song in late 2019. With friends, I used to freestyle since to my memory before 2014. I didn’t acknowledge this as a trade until I understood the foundation of coming up with ideas and making music. To where I’m at today. I have done a multitude of things but this is just the beginning of my journey. I’ve done multiple shoots with models to even streaming one of my singles to nearly 22000 streams. It’s all a dream but the work and dedication is what counts in the end. I have also started my first podcast “Cade talks” while beginning my streaming on twitch “ACOGCADE2” with everything stemming from my brand “ACOG” “Aesthetically Complying to Opportunity and Greatness” otherwise be the best version of you.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. I feel for any person that walks this planet either needs to or does understand that without darkness, there would be no light. What we go through and how he go about it is what makes us who we are today. Me personally I had to learn my lessons on how much do I really love something. Not Paying tribute to baseball, football, golf or basketball. I lost them in the grip of my own. Not finishing college, never had money, but always had love. Appreciating the bigger elements of life have brought me to this. I have a had to take a step back recently to recollect the value of everything for where I’ve been tested again. I had recently moved into my first apartment was officially going to start my startup brand so I quit my full-time job not knowing that COVID would soon come after that decision directly after my 22nd birthday. I was doing well in sales for my merchandise for my brand and I wanted to dedicate my time and effort I was putting into my job into my own brand just knowing the true value of time. Then in time getting into a near death collision later that year and many things aligned to the path I’m destined for. No matter what hardship I’ve gone through it has made me who I am today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Production, Videography, recording, engineering, and more. I’m most proud of the things I’ve discovered and learned and what I can pass on to future generations. I’m proud of getting recognition for the “new” me granted that I never made music growing up so it will come off hard to believe and I’m grateful for those that have. What sets me apart from others is that I give games when I have it. I don’t restrict knowledge from anyone. I’m an open book to help. Which I believe is why people believe capitalism is wrong. There’s nothing wrong with capitalizing on an opportunity. The problem is not letting people in on how to get there. Not handing the actual to do list but access to the information to understand. While just being an alien or a Martian. I’m different always have been and so have my peers which is the reason I created my brand ACOG. To represent all the people that feel left out in this world because it’s okay to be different because what is normal?

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Create a foundation and structure do when life hits a u turn you are prepared for it all. Mindfulness and emotional intelligence is a way of life and I think we have all been struck with those two ideals in the past couple of years. Be grateful and make sure you check in on your loved ones. Expect the unexpected.
