Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicholas Williams.
Get It Done Dog Training L.L.C. was founded in 2013 by Nicholas Williams. Nicholas has been training dogs since he was 7 years old. As a young kid, Nicholas frequently visited various libraries where he found books written by trainers who lived in Germany and Australia. Being the persistent type of kid that he was, Nicholas wrote a couple of Master Trainers who were living in Germany and Australia, in an attempt to learn more than he already knew about dog training. Both Master Trainers were impressed that a 7 year old kid during the eighties happened to be interested in dog training and thus became pen pals with Nicholas. Over a period of years, Nicholas became a well-seasoned dog trainer but after he graduated from college with a biology degree and a minor in chemistry, Nicholas stopped training dogs for years. It wasn’t until 2012 and 2013 did Nicholas went for formal training from several Master Trainers in Ohio, did he return to San Diego and formed Get It Done Dog Training. It should be noted that if it were not for his wife a Joy actually convincing him to peruse what made Him the happiest, Nicholas would never had formed Get It Done Dog Training. The company name was culminated by Joy and Nicholas’s wonderful friend and confidant, Dr. Kimberly Dembinski D.V.M.. Both ladies knew that Nicholas possessed a gift for understanding and ultimately training dogs so with their encouragement and support, Nicholas founded Get It Done Dog Training and currently helps clients from all walks of life have a better relationship with their dogs. The mission of Get It Done Dog Training is a simple one; establish a relationship between Dog and owner that is based on mutual trust and mutual respect. Get It Done Dog Training L.L.C. Currently serves but is not limited to San Diego and the L.A. areas. Get It Done Dog Training offers board and train or Inhome training programs depending on what training package an individual owner decides on.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Over the years, Get It Done Dog Training has had a steady path for the most part. Of course being a dog trainer that understands the personalities of dogs and people, there is always the lingering difference of opinions regarding what certain breeds of dogs are like and what they are not like. Get It Done Dog Training does not judge dogs based on their breed when it comes to training, other than the obvious physical attributes per breed. Instead, Get It Done Fog Training judges each training case on the personality of the dog in question and also on the personality of the dog owner. In doing so the individual training case is tailored to the exact needs of the dog and owner in question.

Get It Done Dog Training offers a wide range of training programs. Programs such as our On/off leash training package is most common because this package ensures that your dog stays with the owner on or off leash. This package also allows for hands free leash protocols to be performed while still obeying leash laws. Our clients can run, jog, or simply walk while carrying groceries or the like, while their dog stays by their side no matter what the typical environment happens to be. We offer personal protection packages to clients who have undergone our On/off leash package and have the dog with the qualifications regarding its personality. We offer various types of service training to qualified clients. We offer behavior modification and basic leash obedience training. As a company, we are not only proud of the fact that we have helped so many dogs and their owners to have and enjoy life together, but we have maintained that personal community feel. We get to know our clients and become part of their lives with their dogs. We at Get Done Dog Training take dog training seriously so the dog owner can depend on us because we know their dogs depend on them. Once each owner receives training from us, that owner becomes like family and that is what separates Get It Done Dog Training from other companies.
What were you like growing up?
As a kid I have always loved dogs but I didn’t realize just how much until I became a life-long dog trainer.
