Today we’d like to introduce you to Kira Courson
Hi Kira, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always had a passion for jewelry and creating my own bracelets and necklaces as a kid. As a college student, I started learning more about entrepreneurship in some of the classes I took and I have always had a dream of opening my own business, so this idea sparked into my mind and I wanted to make it into a reality. The goal for Charming Leucadia is to provide a fun and unique space for the community. Individuals can come in and create their own customized bracelets or necklaces based on the hand picked charms they choose. As a first time business owner at 22, I am so excited to see where this journey takes me. .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While opening the store, we have faced some obstacles along the way but we have taken each challenge as a learning experience. Opening a store is not easy but seeing the outcome of it in the end is what makes it all worth it.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Charming Leucadia is an in-store custom jewelry making experience. You get to choose your own personalized look from a curated collection of unique charms and chains to create one-of-a -kind necklace or bracelets. We are a community driven jewelry boutique where you come for a memorable experience and leave with a unique piece of personalized jewelry. We will officially open our doors to the public on August 24th, 2024.
We provide a fun way to celebrate with a group of friends, a creative space to bond with family, or a-must-do destination for out of town visitors.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I have a very supportive group of friends and family supporting me through this journey which is great luck to me and my business. I also have tons of help from my mom, Cindy Courson and step dad, Marc Karren as they have had a lot of experience in operating businesses.
