An Inspired Chat with Bird Davis of San Diego

Bird Davis shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Bird , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I get alot of joy from just being a dad and hanging out with my kids and watching them play sports .

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Bird Davis a San Diego–based photographer with five years behind the lens and a journey shaped by plenty of ups and downs. I take pride in creating a vibe where clients feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely connected. My approach is all about getting to know people on a personal level while keeping the energy fun, natural, and creative making every shoot an experience, not just a session.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I would say my mom, siblings and few of my close friends . They always encourage and motivate me because at times it is hard to see my own potential regardless if i know deep down i got it in me . I’m beyond thankful for them

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When i came to the conclusion that no one is coming to save you . You got to push through whatever it is that you may be going through. Life is a cold game but you must make things shake regardless . Whoever is going through something keep pushing BETTER DAYS ARE ALWAYS AHEAD .

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My relationship with my 3 kids.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What will you regret not doing?
Not living my life to its fullest . I don’t want to get old and have to say i wish i did this i wish i did that . I want to live a life of no regrets at all . I’m thankful for the life I live now , no matter the ups and downs it comes with.
