An Inspired Chat with Neil Denaut II of Mission valley /Alpine

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Neil Denaut II. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Neil, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
Process emotions and healing emotional trauma.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Neil Denaut and for the past 15 years I have been realigning and recalibrating people’s bodies so they can strengthen and heal.

I have over 25 years in the health and fitness industry with a wide array of clients.

I specialize in restoring the neuro-musculo-skeletal systems of the body (nervous, muscles, bones) through the use of counter resisted movements.
I also incorporate vibration therapy into my sessions.

We can rebalance the body so that it restores muscle, strengthen, improve neurological connections. With these improved connections then, can use that leverage to realign the bones.

The results are an immediate release of tension in the body, increased strength, a significant improvement in overall comfort.

I have experience with nearly every condition that include Parkinsons, cerebral palsy, herniated discs, Polio, MS, etc.

This work is especially helpful for those with connectivity issues (ex. neurological weakness).

This is a very niche technique that provides substantial results almost immediately. The process can happen as quickly as someone can handle it.

A typical session basically requires you to squeeze a muscle (or muscles), hold the contraction, and I pull slowly against it.

As we do this repeatedly and in the proper sequence, the body will return itself to a more optimal balance. This is what improves the efficiency of all systems within the body because everything is integrated and our body’s efficiency will predict the level of function everywhere.

You body will feel better, get stronger, and move like you used to do.

I’m here to help and if you’ve been living with something and other methods have no helped, then I would highly recommend that you come in for a consultation. There’s always something that we can do to help you.

It is my honor to guide you through your healing journey. This is what I love to do.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
The person who taught me the most about my work would be Carla McEwan for flexible anatomy in McKinney, Texas.

She is ahead of 99.9% of body work professionals and I owe her mentorship to my ability to do the work at the degree that I do.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
When we relocated from NY as a family of 5 in 2014, it was tough. I hustled and made every sacrifice just so that we could live and raise our family here.

There were days I didn’t know where we would get money for dinner or gas but, I knew that the only way to make this work was to have faith in myself, my wife, and God that this would improve.

I questioned myself many times but, we stuck the course and it paid off.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Marshall Faulk. His leadership, kindness, and professionalism taught me a lot about what it takes to be truly successful as a leader. He truly wants to see everyone successful. That’s how the greatest leaders rise, by lifting up others. Meet people where there are and shine a light for them for where they want to go.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I never stopped because someone told me that I couldn’t achieve something that meant everything to me.

Perhaps it’s my cross-country move to San Diego. The sacrifices that we made for a better life. That we kept building ourselves up in spite of tough circumstances and now, we are exactly where we wanted to be.

To never, ever give up on your dreams.

We made it work with less than nothing. You just have to believe and be willing to do what you have to do to make it.
