Regina, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
The clean, natural beauty business is often misunderstood as simply a marketing trend or a niche for “eco-conscious” consumers, when in reality it’s a movement rooted in health, transparency, and sustainability.
Many assume “clean” means less effective or overly simplistic, but modern natural formulations combine advanced science with plant-based ingredients to create high-performance products without harmful chemicals.
It’s not just about being green it’s about offering safer, ethically made beauty solutions that work just as well, if not better, than their conventional counterparts.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
RD Alchemy Natural Products crafts premium natural and organic skincare, body care, makeup, supplements, and pet care for both everyday consumers and the professional holistic healthcare industry. Rooted in the sciences of Ethnobotany, Herbal Medicine, and Natural Product Chemistry, our mission is to deliver non-toxic, therapeutic solutions that promote health and well-being. Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I had a lot of time to live and enjoy life, when really I’ve learned that it’s not the length of time that matters most, but the quality of it. Many people start feeling the wear and tear of their bodies in their late 30s and 40s, and while you may still have decades ahead, if your mind, body, and spirit are struggling just to get through each day, your true quality of life is already shortened. Living long means taking care of yourself now so you can thrive later and is why using high quality, clean products that help you do so is so important!
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Sure, there have been moments over the past 23 years of running this business when I nearly walked away. Between an ever-changing economy, a saturated and constantly evolving industry, and the daily challenges of entrepreneurship, I’ve had times when I wondered if this was the end of the road. But this is my life’s work, and I’ll be doing it until my very last day and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Peter Venkman. This fictional character embodies a kind of power that comes purely from who he is, his wit, charm, and unshakable confidence. He doesn’t lead with force or authority, but with personality, quick thinking, and a knack for navigating any situation. His character proves that true influence often comes from authenticity and self-assuredness rather than traditional power.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think the biggest misunderstanding about my legacy will be the belief that we create products solely for cosmetic beauty or profit. In reality, every formula is designed to help people live their own version of “happily ever after” with fewer challenges along the way. Our products are meant to be used with purpose to keep you clean, help you feel seen, and bring you a sense of serenity. They’re there to support you through the chaos of busy, unpredictable days, easing the everyday effects of life’s struggles so you can feel and function at your best.
