Art & Life with Christina and Jayson Madore of Moonflower Ranch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Madore and Jayson Madore.

Christina and Jayson, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
When my husband and I were getting married, we had the hardest time finding a private little space we could make our own. We finally found a private little home on an avocado grove, and we were able to create our dream wedding for a cost that made sense to us. After, we began to talk about how we would love to create a space like the one we had found. We wanted to be able to provide a place where people could create whatever they wanted. Once we decided to have children, we wanted out of the city where we could raise our kids and create a life full of love not only for our family, but other families as well!

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
We bought a property with a Historic barn, and turned it into a place to celebrate. My husband and I have always loved creating events and doing things a bit differently. We have two Unicorn’s named Miley & Daisy who do Tea Parties and Birthdays in our garden. We also do Flower Crown Workshops with inspiration given by Floralia Crowns. But mostly, I have been able to use my passion for photography and capture these precious moments!

Do you think conditions are generally improving for artists? What more can cities and communities do to improve conditions for artists?
I think it has become easier to put out what you do, easier to create new things, but harder because there is more competition. One thing I LOVE is seeing small businesses supporting other small businesses!

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
