Art & Life with Jacquelyn Kazas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacquelyn Kazas.

Jacquelyn, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I have always been artistic but never found my groove until my wedding. I loved designing and coming up with ideas that would make my guests find it unique, fun and beautiful. Now I create different events with clients, from conception to completion and there is nothing more gratifying. I love getting ideas or concepts from clients then putting my own spin on things to make them come to fruition.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I create beautiful spaces for people to enjoy. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday party, baby or bridal shower or just a dinner with friends. I want it to be beautiful and unique to you. With all of the options out there my goal is to make each event I participate in something guests will walk away from with the best memories.

Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
If you love what you do then the financial struggles are worth it. I’ll be honest, this is something that I struggle with, coming from a steady pay check to this can be difficult. However, the time with my kids and my family is worth it. It is all about balance but you need to be secure and smart with it. It’s not for the faint of heart, or for those who are not smart with their finances, but if you are smart with it you can make it work.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
