Caitlin Keyser’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Caitlin Keyser . Check out our conversation below.

Hi Caitlin , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 days of my day usually starts by self care routine, than coffee with a light breakfast and a workout class .

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Caitlin, and I am a hairstylist. I’ve been doing hair for almost 10 years, and I absolutely love it. What inspires me most is helping people look and feel like the best version of themselves. For me, it’s not just about styling, it’s about building confidence and making sure each client’s hair is cared for and healthy. Whether it’s a bold transformation or a simple, polished look, I love tailoring every style to fit the person in my chair. I take pride in creating meaningful connections with my clients and offering an experience that feels both fun and uplifting. My chair is more than just a place to get your hair done, it’s a safe and welcoming space for everyone who sits in it.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom. She has always seen my potential and believed in me, even during times when I doubted myself. She recognized my passion and talent before I fully embraced it, and her support has been a huge part of my journey. Having someone who sees you so clearly and pushes you to step into your own light is truly a gift.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and started using it as power when I truly dived deep into my faith and gave it all to God. Surrendering allowed me to heal, to grow, and to find strength in places I didn’t even know I had. My faith taught me that my pain could have purpose, and that shift changed everything for me..

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
My mom. She is such a beautiful, strong, and talented woman. I admire her not for power or position, but for her character , her resilience, her kindness, and the way she carries herself with grace. She inspires me every day..

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I think my customers would miss the experience of being in my chair, the laughter, the conversations, the safe space I create, and the way I make them feel as much as how I make their hair look. It’s more than just a hairstyle; it’s the confidence and connection that comes with it.
