Check out Brandon Borrero’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Borrero.

Brandon, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Originally from Orlando, Fl., I am a videographer and photographer based in Southern California. After completing my enlistment in the Marine Corps, I picked up work as an account manager in the financial world. Although I was good at financial work, I didn’t love it nearly as much as I loved making videos and taking photos.

Risking everything as I supported myself and continued my education, I invested in starting my own videography and photography business; it’s been one of the best choices of my life.

It is the collective goal of me and my team of professionals to bring everything we have to the table for our clients as we do our absolute best to capture, create, and have fun producing the work you’ve entrusted us with!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
We capture events and moments of all kinds from weddings to concerts or corporate events. I then focus on turning what we captured, whether footage or images and create visual art.

When it comes to videography, besides heavily focusing on story-telling and composition, I aim for what seems to be the biggest underrated component in a lot of videos, audio, and visual cohesion. It pains me to watch a video, especially a music video, and see visual images that do not complement or match with what I’m hearing. I spend a lot of time finding the right audio that goes with the video’s purpose and I make sure what you hear is also what you see.

Whenever you are viewing my art, I want you to not only seamlessly understand the story in its best-composed manner, but I want you to have experience by the time it’s done playing for you.

Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
One of the biggest challenges the artists face is actually getting your face out there. It’s the struggle to try to do what you love and what you are talented at and not be smacked left and right constantly by normal life challenges and other bigger competitors. A lot of talented artists are swept under the rug and do not see the light of day because it gets too hard for them to deal with everything and stay on top of their craft.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
