Check out Gloria Ordaz, Glorified Graff ‘s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gloria Ordaz, Glorified Graff.

Gloria, Glorified Graff, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I grew up in San Jose, Ca (The Bay Area). While growing up in such a cultured community I have always been intrigued with the local art. I observed many different artists while still being a small child. I started to admire street art as a teen, mostly loving the different style of graffiti. It was the street style that captured my eye. It wasn’t long after that I would try these talents, eventually turning to drawings that would lead up to my paintings. I feel as though this is my calling and look forward to seeing where art takes me. In the future.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I paint mostly on wood canvas, with acrylic paints. I paint whatever comes to my mind, letting my imagination run wild. I constantly have ideas running through my head, so much, that I have to write them down. My inspirations can come from almost anything…I definitely have to have the right music playing when painting, if not it can ruin my art mood up. I feel like it’s up to the person, what they want to take from my art, I know what I get from it. I do a “drip” to every painting I do. I guess you can call it a signature drip, I’m obsessed with my drip and honestly can’t stop starring at it. I love it…

How can artists connect with other artists?
My advice to other artists get involved with art shows not to be scared to meet new people, always be yourself, and remember to have fun.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
Instagram @glorifiedgraff I always post flyers of local art shows I’m involved in. Mostly in Southern California.
