Today we’d like to introduce you to Jocelyn Warner.
Jocelyn, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I’ve always had a deep love for photography, but once I had my boys I really became captivated with catching their life on camera. As I watched my boys grow I wanted to help others capture their little ones, but I didn’t know where to begin. In October of 2017 is when my son, Kyler, was diagnosed with autism and that’s when I took the leap and started “Two Little Sirs Photography.” Kyler sees the world in such a beautiful, different way. He has truly inspired me to be the best version of myself as a mother, but also as a photographer.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I am North County San Diego Photographer, specializing in lifestyle, maternity, and family sessions. In addition, I absolutely LOVE landscape photography. Capturing the beaches, forests, downtown, and other scenic areas of San Diego is food for my soul! As a mother, I believe every moment is so special with your little one, and photos are such a great way to have those moments for a lifetime. Photography has formed so many relationships in the community between other moms and me. I love the fact that I get to watch their little ones grown with them. One thing that I hope people see in photography is the importance of a memory. I know it may sound cliché, but tomorrow is never promised for anyone, so having memories to look back at is such a great thing to have
What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
Obviously money is a huge factor, however, don’t let money come in between you and your passion. Utilize your mind, and the tools you have in the now and you will be surprised at what you can create.
