Today we’d like to introduce you to Marlene Orozco.
Marlene, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
My hobby has always been Photography. It’s something I enjoy. What gets me motivated is the feedback I get from my clients its the best feeling ever. A picture is not just a picture its a memory you look back at and relive the memory. I started off by having a point and shoot camera when I was 15 years old, and I would take pictures of friends and family, and from that moment I knew that I had a special skill with a camera. Since then Ive always took pictures of everyone from my family and friends. It’s been about two years that I made it an official side business, of taking pictures for people like maternity, engagement, wedding, family and newborn pictures. I’ve never felt so happy doing something that I love and turning it into a business. The best part about taking pictures is that I met new people and learn new things every day.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I create beautiful pictures and turn them into a memory you won’t ever forget. The key to take pictures is having patience and, having good communication skills, not everyone is the same but its what the type of vibe you use for you’re pictures such as the type of way you edit. I love bright. It makes the pictures stand out and gets peoples attention. Creating pictures is not just about the money, Its about how you make a client feel satisfied and amazed. The best part is feeling appreciated.
How can artists connect with other artists?
Always meet new people that’s very important because you connect with different people and you become more known.
