Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Jimerson.
Hi Alicia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Our bakery really started out as a hobby. We love French macarons and wanted to learn how to make them. Little did we know that the macaron-making process can be incredibly difficult. Making the perfect macaron became an obsession.
We started posting what we were doing on social media. Likes and positive comments quickly turned into requests to make custom orders for birthdays, baby showers, and other special occasions.
Then, an inquiry came from a San Diego boba tea shop, asking if we could wholesale 1,000 pieces a week. I guess you could say we were officially in business at that point. It’s amazing to think that an established business thinks enough of your product to stock it on its shelves.
From there, we participated in the Temecula night market scene while looking to expand our wholesale operation.
When our daughter became vegan a few years ago, we were astonished at the lack of tasty, affordable plant-based desserts. So, we got in the lab and came out with a plant-based version of our macarons, as well as a line of plant-based desserts including cheesecake and layer cake jars.
As of now, we supply 2 local San Diego boba shops, 4 of The Press Espresso locations in the Temecula / Murrieta area, a variety store called SuperMix Mercantile also in the Temecula area.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The biggest struggle is that we both work full-time jobs and work as well as own a business. Let’s just say that many long nights have turned into early mornings for us.

Jerrol works in the dental field. Alicia works in healthcare.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
We are happiest when we receive positive feedback from customers. We love seeing our desserts mentioned on Instagram and knowing that we added happiness to someone’s day.
