Check Out Amanda Lauritano’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Lauritano

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Amanda Lauritano’s career began in the dynamic world of hospitality, where she quickly established herself as a talented bartender, garnering recognition in industry publications. This early success ignited a passion for crafting exceptional experiences, leading her to a role as the Director of Catering for Neiman Marcus. While orchestrating corporate events, Amanda began designing for private clients, discovering a deep-seated love for weddings. For 12 years, Amanda honed her skills as a dedicated venue coordinator in Corona, California, building a thriving establishment and making a profound impact on countless couples’ special days. The arrival of her son spurred a desire for greater balance, leading to a bold transition. With the launch of ALove Story Events, Amanda now curates personalized wedding experiences, free to pour her heart into each detail. Thriving as a businesswoman, she partners with venues to enhance their offerings and collaborates with fellow vendors, always focused on elevating the client experience. With each wedding, Amanda continues to write her love story.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life threw me some serious curveballs. My early years were a whirlwind, and my 20s were marked by adversity that tested my limits. There were times when I felt I was constantly starting over, forced to rebuild after a series of setbacks, some of my own making, and some just the cruel hand of fate. But these experiences, as difficult as they were, became the forge where my character was shaped. I learned to embrace the challenge of rebuilding, to find strength in the ashes, and to build a life defined not by the falls, but by the ability to get back up.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a wedding planner and coordinator, and I truly do it all! I believe that the day of the wedding is when I really shine. My primary role in my couples’ wedding journey is to be their number one support system and guide. I take immense pride in being readily available for my brides, offering unlimited communication throughout the planning process. In previous roles at larger companies, I often found myself reprimanded for working “off the clock,” but in the wedding world, there’s no such thing as off-the-clock service.
Now, with my own company, I am thrilled to provide the high level of service that my clients deserve. From the moment I speak with potential clients, I often hear comments like, “Oh my goodness, I feel so much better.” Nothing brings me more joy than giving my couples that sense of peace and reassurance. I genuinely feel that I develop friendships with many of my clients.
I handle every detail—from creating timelines to setting up decor, bustling wedding dresses, and calming anxious family members. I’m adept at putting out fires as they arise, and it requires a unique skill set to manage a variety of personalities while maintaining a smile and a calm demeanor. I absolutely thrive in the chaos of a wedding day.
What sets me apart is the personal touch I provide and my willingness to go above and beyond for my clients, which is reflected in my reviews on Wedding Wire. I’m known as the one who can handle it all! Even while pregnant, you’d catch me running around and lifting tables, demonstrating my commitment to making every wedding a memorable success.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I truly thrive in this season of my life; describing it as having my hands full feels like an understatement. As a mother to my 9-month-old baby boy, I manage a business serving 30 + brides, run a venue in Temecula, and contribute to the marketing efforts for a valued vendor. I love immersing myself in every aspect of my life.
In addition to my professional commitments, I actively participate in a mom group, attend a book club, engage in baby gym activities, and take part in open houses and networking events. I cherish all these experiences, managing to balance them effortlessly with my baby on my hip. This dynamic lifestyle brings me joy and fulfillment, and I embrace every opportunity that comes my way.
