Today we’d like to introduce you to Audrey Darrow.
Hi Audrey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
At the age of 67, after spending seventeen years building my organic food company, Righteously Raw Chocolate, I found myself at an unexpected crossroads. Economic challenges forced me to close the doors of a business that had been my passion and purpose for nearly two decades.
Rather than seeing it as an ending, I chose to see it as an invitation to discover what I was truly here to do.
Throughout my years in the food industry, people often told me, “You need to write your story.” I would occasionally try, but I never considered myself a writer. Then, in 2025, something extraordinary happened. I sat down to write, and the words simply flowed. To this day, I have little memory of actually writing my first book. It felt as though automatic writing had taken over. Every time I sat at the keyboard, the words appeared effortlessly.
That first book became The Serpentine Road: The Way From Wandering to Wonder. Almost immediately afterward, I wrote my second book, The “Activist”: Seek No Truth, Hear No Truth, Speak No Truth. Within just a year and a half, I had written and published three books, the third being Pivots, Divots and Disappearing: The Ascension Stage of Becoming Unseen.
The books were not simply stories—they were part of my own awakening.
Around the years 2008-2010, following the passing of my beautiful daughter, Jaymie Rose Darrow, at the age of nineteen, my intuitive and psychic abilities began to emerge in profound ways. It was a deeply painful experience that transformed the course of my life. While gifts such as intuition, trance mediumship, and channeling cannot be measured by traditional credentials, I wanted those who sought my spiritual guidance to know that I had also dedicated myself to many years of certified training.
Over the past several years, I have earned certifications as a CPD Accredited Health and Wellness Coach, Master Life Coach and Practitioner, Energy and Chakra Healer, CBT Coach Practitioner, NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner, EMDR Therapy Practitioner, Transformational Life Coach, and Level I and II Accredited Sound Healing Practitioner.
My intention has always been to bring together both professional knowledge and intuitive wisdom to help people move from suffering to surrender, fear to peace, and disconnection to wholeness.
Today, I work with clients by phone, in their homes, and outdoors in nature, where silence itself often becomes part of the healing process. My practice integrates coaching, sound healing, Reiki, energy work, intuitive channeling, and trance mediumship, creating a deeply personalized experience for each individual.
I have also launched my website and am developing a YouTube channel to share these teachings and reach a wider audience. Looking ahead, my vision is to open a dedicated healing sanctuary in 2027—a place where people can step away from the noise of everyday life and immerse themselves in an environment of transformation, peace, and deep healing.
When I look back, I realize that losing my business was not the end of my purpose—it was the beginning of it. Every challenge, every loss, every unexpected turn on the road has led me here. What once felt like devastation became the doorway to discovering who I was always meant to be: a guide for those seeking healing, hope, and a path back to themselves.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been an incredibly treacherous yet transformative journey—one filled with pain, struggle, isolation, aloneness, resilience, and growth.
After closing my business, I lost everything I had built. Suddenly, my focus shifted from pursuing my dreams to simply surviving. Finding a place to live, rebuilding my life, and rediscovering myself became essential parts of my healing journey.
Then came another unexpected challenge: I was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and asthma. What followed were countless visits to urgent care clinics and emergency rooms, which at times felt like a full-time job. The process of trying to heal required immense patience, significant financial resources, and the willingness to explore countless treatments and approaches. It was physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming.
Despite everything, those hardships forced me to grow in ways I never imagined. While the road has been painful and often lonely, it has also taught me resilience, perseverance, and the strength to keep moving forward even when everything seemed to be falling apart. Looking back, I realize that this journey wasn’t just about surviving—it was about rebuilding, healing, and becoming a stronger version of myself.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Throughout my years in the food industry, I found myself becoming a trusted mentor to passionate entrepreneurs looking to take their food products from an idea to store shelves. While helping others build successful brands, I was also experiencing a profound personal transformation. As my intuitive and psychic gifts awakened, I began recognizing that many of the obstacles my clients faced weren’t just business challenges—they were rooted in the limiting beliefs, fears, and unresolved wounds they carried within themselves.
At the same time, I was learning these lessons firsthand. As a business owner, I discovered that repeating the same patterns while expecting different results only led to frustration, emotional exhaustion, and financial hardship. Real growth came when I stopped looking outside myself for answers and began doing the inner work. By healing the wounds that kept me operating from a mindset of lack and self-doubt, I created space for new opportunities, clarity, and purpose.
Without setting out to become a healer, I naturally evolved into one. My own journey became the foundation of the work I now do, combining practical business experience with intuitive guidance to help others uncover and heal the patterns that keep them from reaching their full potential. I support entrepreneurs and individuals in breaking through the internal barriers that often stand between them and the success they desire.
What truly sets me apart is that I don’t teach from theory—I teach from lived experience. I have built a successful chocolate brand from the ground up, experienced the heartbreak of losing that business, and transformed what once felt like failure into the greatest catalyst of my life. That journey led to the publication of my books and the healing work I now feel honored to share with others.
Today, I believe our greatest challenges often become our greatest teachers. By sharing my story with honesty and compassion, my hope is to help others avoid some of the mistakes, suffering, and self-imposed limitations I once experienced, while empowering them to trust themselves, heal from within, and create a life and business aligned with their true purpose.
What’s next?
I am committed to continuing to build my healing practice while traveling the world to share my gifts, books, and life experiences with others through gatherings, workshops, keynote presentations, and motivational speaking engagements.
Every day, I look forward to learning something new, trying something different, and sharing those discoveries with people who are ready to hear, experience, and apply them in their own lives. I believe growth is a lifelong journey, and one of my greatest passions is inspiring others to awaken to their own potential.
I am currently preparing to publish my fourth book, Waking Up in Life and Business: Rising Consciousness and the Resonance of Higher-Level Thinking, while also writing my fifth book. Each project reflects my ongoing exploration of personal transformation, conscious leadership, and living with greater purpose and awareness.
My commitment to growth extends beyond writing and teaching. At 57, I began learning to play the guitar, and at 60, I started learning the drums. Today, I continue taking drum lessons as I pursue a lifelong dream of becoming the drummer I have always known I could be. These experiences remind me that it is never too late to learn, reinvent yourself, or pursue the passions that call to you.
My mission is to inspire people to embrace lifelong learning, expand their consciousness, and live with courage, curiosity, and authenticity. Through my work, my writing, and my presence, I hope to encourage others to awaken to new possibilities and create lives filled with purpose, resilience, and joy.
