Cole has graced the beauty scene since September 1998, bringing over two decades of experience and creativity to the salon chair. As a Wella Educator and a proud Wella Color Expert, Cole has mastered the magic of hair color and shares her passion with fellow stylists. Her journey began 18 years ago with Sebastian, diving into the realms of cutting and styling education. Sasha grew up in the salon with her mom as Cole was working her way through college. She worked under the guidance of mentor Linda Moulios for over a decade before submitting to hair as her calling. But what many may not know is that Cole’s artistic roots run deep; her background as an artist shines through in every haircut and color she creates.
Sasha, following in her mother’s artistic footsteps, has also embraced the world of hairstyling with her unique flair. The pair share an incredible story of not attending traditional beauty school, opting instead for California’s Apprenticeship Program, where they both had the same inspiring instructor—proof of the beautiful connection they share across generations.
Together, they are a force to be reckoned with, owning salons in both sunny San Diego, California, and Reno, Nevada. Their teamwork doesn’t stop at the salon door! They travel as a duo, combining their talents for hair and makeup at weddings and educational events across multiple states, sharing joy and creativity with every client they meet.
What makes Cole and Sasha stand out is their extraordinary skill in crafting custom razor and scissor styles that celebrate every hair type and age. They believe that every snip and style is an opportunity for self-expression, adding a sprinkle of confidence to their clients’ lives.
Exciting news awaits this September, as Cole and Sasha have been invited to support the creative team at hair icon, Nick Arrojo’s annual EXPO Show in New York! Known for his role on the beloved show *What Not To Wear,* Nick has inspired many in the industry to become craft hairdressers, and working alongside him is a dream come true for this dynamic duo.
As they prepare to join Nick Arrojo’s creative team on stage, Cole and Sasha continue to inspire one another and those around them. Their shared journey in the beauty industry is not just about skill but also about love, laughter, and the magic of creativity. They remind us that through every hairstyle and color, an unbreakable bond can be seen and felt no matter where they go.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Covid was challenging for our San Diego salon. California was the only state to close as long as they did, The salon closures in California insipid to open another location that we could legally work at in Nevada.

We have a little side project dedicated to supporting hairdressers. It is called Support Your Local Hairdresser on instagram. We connect fellow professionals with education and admire their hair related posts
