Hi Dana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve had a passion for hair for as long as I can remember. I jumped into the industry right after high school, and over the years I’ve grown not just in my craft, but in the relationships I’ve built with my clients. Every stage of my journey—every lesson, every transformation, every person who sat in my chair—deepened my love for what I do. That connection and passion are what brought me to where I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. I’ve worked in a variety of salons under different managers and owners, and each environment came with its own challenges. But every experience—good or difficult—taught me something valuable. I paid attention, learned what worked and what didn’t, and I’ve carried those lessons with me. Today, I’m able to apply all of that knowledge at Del Beauty Box, and it’s shaped the way I lead, create, and passion for my clients.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m known for creating results that make my clients genuinely happy. My priority is always to understand exactly what someone is envisioning, and then bring that vision to life with precision and creativity. I specialize in color, blonding, extensions, and transformations—but just as important is the experience I give my clients.
What I’m most proud of is the trust people place in me. Over the years, those relationships have become the heart of my work. Clients come to my chair not just for great hair, but because they know I listen, I care, and I’m committed to getting it right.
I think what truly sets me apart is my positive, bubbly personality and the energy I bring to every appointment. I make sure the time in my chair feels uplifting and personalized, so clients leave not only looking amazing, but feeling amazing too.
How do you define success?
To me, success is when doing what you love doesn’t even feel like work. When you can pour your passion into your craft, grow every day, and get paid to do something that genuinely brings you joy—how can that feel like a job? Haha. Becoming an owner has amplified that even more. Working for myself instead of someone else has given me a deeper appreciation for the career I chose.
But I’m not doing it alone. Finding partners like Adam and Trisha—people who share the same drive, vision, and commitment—has been a huge part of what keeps everything moving forward. With over 25 years in the industry and an unwavering passion for hair, having the right team beside me makes this journey even more fulfilling. That, to me, is true success.
