Check Out David Biber’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Biber.

Hi David, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I purchased a five acre Tennessee Walker Show Horse Ranch and turned it in to a Movie Ranch. In addition, I built a new Studio Complex for filming movies, television, streaming, and commercial & industrial video. We have had music videos, cooking shows, educational, and law enforcement shows filmed here. The studio features a 40’w x 20’d x 15’t Cyclorama (Green Screen), a 15’w x 12’t Black Screen, and a 9’w Infinite White Screen. More shows in the production pipeline and in discussion. One of our stars was on local San Diego television for 26 years.

The associated “Barn” houses entertainment, organization, production support, and a bunkhouse for cast & crew. Craft Services are available from local food trucks, and a serious selection of food from a local restauranteur.

The grounds have scenic areas that mimic the mountains of Afghanistan to the rolling hills of Texas.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Development was an Odyssey. From contractors to supply chain, to the county.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My family moved to California in 1986. I was a computer consultant, and my wife a retail district manager. I am the guy who proposed on the first date. Halloween 1975. Still married and best friends. Retired from the computer industry in 1999 and founded Two Guys Grilling, a catering and event company. A stint as a chef for the Joint Chiefs, BBQ Guy for Playboy, and catering account holder for Congress followed.

I also did a stint as a Public Affairs Director for the DoD.

Retired from that in 2019 and pursued the entertainment field.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Learned Federal, State, and local COVID-19 Rules and Regulations.

COVID-19 claimed my mother April 24, 2020.
