Check Out Klaudia Krokos’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Klaudia Krokos.

Hi Klaudia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Klaudia, a Polish-born tattoo artist who has called San Diego home for the past eight years. Art has been my passion since childhood, and I feel incredibly grateful to turn that lifelong love into custom tattoos that live on skin.

I specialize in fine line, graphic black and grey tattooing with highly intricate, detailed stipple shading. My style leans feminine with a dark twist: gothic designs, eyeball flowers, floral daggers, surrealistic pinup, and that perfect balance of cute, spooky, and girly. Every piece I create is fully custom, designed to reflect each client’s imagination and individuality.

I live with a severe to profound hearing disability, and it hasn’t been an easy journey. I struggled, doubted myself, and faced many challenges but I refused to let it overcome me. Despite it all, I found the courage to pursue my dreams, and that experience shaped me into a more empathetic, attentive artist who truly values my clients’ comfort and trust. Most people either end up chatting nonstop with me or falling asleep in my chair both of which I take as the highest compliment.

I’m truly happy to have found my place at Buju, where everyone is welcome and the atmosphere is warm, inclusive, and inspiring. I feel honored with every tattoo I get to create in my style, and I care deeply about my clients’ happiness and experience. Each piece reminds me how lucky I am to do what I love.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I think artists I work with and follow on instagram are my biggest inspiration to keep pushing, and reaching towards excellence day by day.
