Check Out Kristiny Mireny’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristiny Mireny

Hi Kristiny, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a mom of 2 beautiful daughters that are now 8 years old and 1 year old.I started working as a nursing assistant at the age of 19 and I can say that I’m really a workaholic person I can’t be vacant because if I stop that’s when my anxiety and overthinking will take over and consume me.Fast forward I got pregnant with my first daughter and that’s when I became a stay at home mom.I deal with postpartum depression and anxiety every single day of me being just at home.I love my daughters and they are world to me but something about moving and working was I think in my blood already.so long story short I decided to bake and sale in the comfort of my house.i took an online class to be certified for food handler safety.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was hard because I have to tend with my 1 year old while preparing the orders but I had so much fun because the time goes by really fast and to see the order being done the way I wanted to and to see my customers reaction are priceless + I can still watch my kids grow up with me.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I bake and sale in the comfort of my house so I make a lot of home made breads before then cakes then cookies and now I’m really focused on selling chocolate covered desserts and I make them depending on customer theme. and I love it… I can bring out the artistic side of me.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
to stay consistent and just believe in yourself and instinct and that sometimes things will not work in your way but trust the process and be patient.
