Check Out Mau Lozano’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mau Lozano

Hi Mau, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started on TikTok in 2020 just for fun, but my passion for tech quickly connected with my audience. Before I knew it, I was expanding to other social media platforms and making a name for myself in the Spanish-speaking tech scene. Now, I’m sharing smartphone reviews, tips and tricks, and all kinds of tech news across my platforms.

Now, with over 6 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads (you can find me everywhere as @soymaulozano), I’m constantly sharing my take on the latest in tech.

I’ve been in the tech world for over 15 years, working on web development, digital marketing, SEO strategies, and more—and now being in front of the camera is probably the most exciting of all.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many content creators, I faced several challenges, especially when first standing in front of a camera. Also, one of the biggest struggles at first was maintaining consistency – being a content creator requires a big commitment and for me that has being posting every single day for the past few years, including weekends and holidays, that’s something that help you create a more solid relationship with your audience.

Also, building a personal brand in a competitive industry like tech involved staying updated with the latest advancements and constantly refining my content to keep it engaging and informative. Additionally, balancing creative expression with audience engagement often required reshaping ideas and strategies based on feedback and trends. Despite these challenges, each hurdle has been a good learning experience, helping me grow and better connect with my audience.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a tech content creator with over five years of experience in social media. My work focuses on simplifying technology for my audience, sharing daily tips, reviews, and insights on the latest in gadgets, AI, and tech trends. I’m known for delivering straightforward, practical advice with a conversational and approachable style, which has resonated with a community of over 6 million followers across various platforms.

I specialize in breaking down complex tech topics into bite-sized, accessible content. My followers often look to me for honest opinions on the latest smartphones and innovative tech tools, including cutting-edge AI applications. One of my proudest achievements is successfully building a community that trusts my recommendations and engages actively with my content, making tech feel more relatable and useful in everyday life.

What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity and my unique style of engaging with my audience as if we’re just friends chatting about what’s new in tech. I believe in the value of transparency, whether it’s about a product’s performance or my own experiences with the tools I recommend. I’m constantly exploring new ways to bring value to my followers, and I’m especially proud of my journey of creating impactful content, all managed from my mobile phone, which allows me to stay agile and connect with my audience in real-time.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
For anyone just starting out, my biggest piece of advice is to focus on consistency and authenticity. It might sound simple, but showing up every day and being genuine with your audience makes a huge difference. When I started, I wish I’d known how important it is to find your unique voice and stick with it. There’s a lot of content out there, and what sets you apart is your perspective. Don’t try to imitate others, just focus on sharing what feels real and valuable to you.

Another thing to keep in mind is that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Success in this space takes patience and a lot of trial and error. Don’t be afraid to experiment, learn from each post, and refine your style as you go. Also, get comfortable with the idea that not every piece of content will be a hit. Some will do better than others, and that’s normal. Use the feedback you get to improve, but don’t let it discourage you.

Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of good storytelling. Whether it’s a product review or a tech tip, try to bring in a little bit of your own experience to make it relatable. People connect with stories, not just information, and that’s what helps build trust with your audience over time.
