Check Out Profit Stopit’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Profit Stopit.

Hi profit , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started rapping during covid going on 6 years now. In the 6 years I’ve been in the music industry I’ve done over a thousand shows from big to small. Winning multiple hip hop competitions resulting in national tours, trophy’s , magazine articles and a list rapper features such as lil Wayne, jarren Benton, two chainz, and Rittz. Now I’m focusing on The group me and the squad put together called KOAT Records. KOAT meaning king of all trades.we are doing very big things at a very fast pace so keep an eye out for KOAT Records.!!!!!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Mostly smooth I would say cause I pick and choose my battles if you will. There was some struggles tho along the way. investing into your craft when your craft isn’t making you the money back is not easy. There were nights I was alone in another state across the country broke sleeping on hard wood floors with a sheet and my sweater as a pillow. But I was there for a purpose and that purpose got done no matter the tough times dedication is key.!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Right now I’m focused on getting KOAT Records off the ground we all share the same responsibility in the group so we all book shows, book artists, book vendors, ext I specialize in the group with my energy on and off stage. I am know for my aggressive style when recording and performing. I am most proud of the team we are all working together to make our dreams come true and it’s honestly amazing. What sets me apart from everyone else is my style and appearance I’ve yet to see an artist carry themselves the way I do.!

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Not a huge risk taker but there’s been a few times I’ve spent a lot of money on a show not knowing if it was going to make me my money back but that’s hip hop your going to take a lot of losses before them wins start coming in
