Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Welch.
Hi Rose, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off meal prepping for myself then others were asking if I were able to provide meals for them as well. So that became a thing for me and was making extra income. Then I was being asked to cater special events, and when I did that a few times, I really enjoyed doing so. That’s when I decided to move forward in the catering business and it just flourished since then. My inspiration is my mother rest in heaven Betty. She has taught me everything that I know. And lastly, my number one inspiration are my children that always have my back and assisting me as their mother and everything that I do, I love you Emonie Navarro, Lanaya Welch.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Everything for me has been a blessing. Being hit with the pandemic has put a damper on things. But nothing god can’t handle. I still make it happen and most importantly those that are my supporters stick in my corner rather my prices had to rise to keep up with the cost of everything.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are a taco catering company. All Women black own business., serving up many different styles of tacos. What makes us different is that we’re not just serving up street tacos, we get really creative, even for our vegetarian friends. I love what I do because when I see the smiles on people’s faces after they have enjoyed my food that lets me know I’ve done something right. We don’t just feed you great food, we feed you great vibes. Great customer service is the best. I love to have good relationships with my customers as well new people we meet.
