Check Out Tosha Chavez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tosha Chavez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got started in the industry through my first class in Hospitality Business Management while in college. My business professor owned multiple restaurants, food trucks, businesses, etc. and he gave me a position at one of his catering companies where their primary focus in the summer was weddings. I worked in the catering kitchen, as a server at weddings, and also as a bartender for private and public events. That job ultimately led me to starting my own business before I graduated but more so as a hobby at the time, I had no idea it would lead to where I am today. After graduating, I started a position as a wedding venue coordinator in the sales department while also learning wedding flowers for about two year. After covid hit, I got laid off for multiple months, and with no promise of my position for the future, I took the dive into giving this business the attention it deserved!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been an easy road, but I wouldn’t change it in anyway. It really made me become who I am today and more importantly, taught me how to become a stronger business owner.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
Our focus is creating elevated weddings and elopements that are specifically designed for couples who want an intimate and tailored event. We believe wedding planning is more than timelines and checklists. It’s about being a guide, friend, and confidant. We all value connection, kindness, and inclusivity and offer couples a safe space where they feel supported when planning such a special event in their life.

How do you define success?
I define success as having a continuation of personal growth and development, overcoming obstacles with resilience, and creating a life where I feel fulfilled emotionally and financially.
