Today we’d like to introduce you to Quincy Pennock.

Quincy, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I have always been the adventurous type (getting me into trouble at times), and I have had an eye for artistic design just never a hand for drawing, I wanted to express my talents any way I could so I took 2 years of digital photography and 3 years of ceramic arts to grow my skills. I asked my mom for a camera for Christmas and ever since I try my best to travel and find the photos that no one cares to see forcing me to look deep into the culture and non-touristy parts of places I go.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I am a photographer, and I try to create the images that the average tourist and even photographer tend to overlook. I seek adventure and emersion in the culture that is around me. I have also taken engagement photos for my sister and brother-in-law, headshots for my school plays, photos of surfing, and any sports action or personal photos you may need.

What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
If I could give advice to another artist, it would be to never give up, be consistent, and continually learn and grow. Never settle for one thing.
