Check out Tlaloc Garcia’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tlaloc Garcia.

Tlaloc, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I was raised in my home with various types genres of music growing up in the inner city. City Heights to be exact. Hip hop, Rock N Roll, Oldies, Metal, and Punk were some of the influences. I always maintained my musical abilities alive whether it be Playing the Guitar or DJing fraternity events at SDSU.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Currently, I am a Hip Hop and RnB Music Producer. In my earlier years, I became frustrated with the selection of music that was available on the local radio stations, and that’s what led me to begin creating my own instrumentals. My earliest memories are of Hip Hop Videos and they were the soundtracks to my youth. I hope I can inspire other people to never settle for content and become independent in their search of musical therapy. I do my best to remain relevant but I enjoy taking random samples and create new music.

How can artists connect with other artists?
Feel free to go to venues and clubs that promote your genre. There is so much that can be learned by networking with live artists, promoters, and DJ’s. Online exposure can also bridge the gap between your listeners and yourself.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
My music is always previewed on Instagram @tlaloc_garcia. My final mixes are posted on http://www.soundcloud.com/tlaloc_garcia. I am still in the process of creating my record label, but I am definitely excited for what the furniture brings.
