Hi Y’all! My name is Brandy Espinosa (Espi). I’m a true southern belle, a born and raised Dallas Girl! I’m a fun and spirited local entrepreneur, humanitarian, mental health and fitness advocate, and world traveler. My passion lies in empowering people to become the best versions of themselves and helping them feel good.
The journey to where I’m at now has been in the works for some time as I’ve always been in the entrepreneurial and investing world. At the age of 24, I started a skincare line that didn’t quite fall through but that experience provided me with the opportunity and foundation to successfully learn and grow my current businesses.
Five years ago, I decided to take the plunge to start a new life. I dropped out of college and moved to San Diego and started my first business at the age of 26. The Ripper Co. is a resistance band line that was designed to bring comfort and style to fitness all while giving back to local charities. The Ripper Co. is a product that was made by a consumer for a consumer. Through the Ripper Co. I’ve been able to host workshops and events, build partnerships, and do philanthropic work with donation matching for charity programs.
After the successful launch of the Ripper Co. I wanted to still follow my passion of incorporating health and wellness in the beauty and aesthetic field. In 2021 I opened Hot Skin Lab which is a Holistic Body Contouring Business. Through the usage of a variety of modalities including Ultrasonic Cavitation, Radio Frequency, Low-Level Light Technology, and Wood Therapy. We can sculpt and contour the body by emulsifying stubborn fat. These non-surgical methods can reduce the appearance of cellulite and localized fat while tightening the skin. Once the fat is broken down through these procedures, we help your body activate and eliminate the excess through the body’s natural lymphatic system of releasing waste. I absolutely love what I do! I enjoy helping people reach and achieve their desired goals. It’s amazing to be able to have the opportunity to have my clients over a long period of time and be a part of their journey and transformation. One of my favorite parts of what I do is interacting and sharing energy and experience, being a teacher and student, and inspiring and being inspired by all the amazing clients that come through my doors.
What sets me apart is I’m ME! I’m transparent and have a whole vibe. I know the importance of what I do and I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me. I know that the work I’m doing is much more than what it may look like on the surface. I’m a catalyst to help change lifestyles and a connector that brings people together and I provide an experience where you can not only look good but feel good in the process.
Where I’m currently at now, well I’m growing. I’m in the process of expanding and reaching new heights and coming into my full potential in my personal and entrepreneurial endeavors. Keep a lookout, Hot Skin Lab is creating some amazing things.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Challenges I have faced when growing my businesses is not knowing how I am going to get to me next goal. Sometimes I let go during these times and put my faith in God and what is meant for me is meant for me. With that being said I do put my effort into my company when I feel like I am being challenged but I also remind myself, “You are not in control of what you cannot control.” and then move forward to see what the next step is for me. You just keep fkn going!

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
A few lessons I have learned:
1. Not every client is for you, do not chase, attract!
2. When you are feeling overwhelmed, stop! Be grateful for what you have and how far you have come.
3. Use a calendar. Now that I have started this business, I live off my calendar and I have structure throughout the week.
4. Be your authentic self. For me, my clients are with me two times a week or once a week. It’s a journey for them and myself. So be you and you will attract similar people.
